Chelsea will try to counter attack here and try to catch Atletico on the break. I'm going for a score draw.

Think this will end 0-0 and will be decided by penalty shoot out.

Only way this game gets interesting is Atleti scoring first. Has to be that way.
Chelsea will be forced to come out after that and it might get somewhat entertaining.

It will actually be more interesting than most (all) think. Atletico will be the more attack-minded and Chelsea will try on counters (they will dump the bus for a minivan this time). Think Chelsea will win 2-1.

Atleti never play attacking, they rely on long balls to their target men and the overlapping of their fullbacks. The onus is on Chelsea to score because Atleti can score some really jammy goals at times and with Terry out those set pieces and corners are going to be one of Atletis weapons

They'll probably refuse to take penalties as well, just let the ball lie there and form a defensive block in the middle circle

To those who wrote they are not gonna watch, you fools no one. You're gonna watch it and I feel it might actually be enjoyable (somewhat). To those who think Atletico would attack, nope, not gonna happen. Chelsea would have to take the game to Atletico and you know what, they are have the players to actually do that.
But knowing Mourinho, he'll be all cowardly again

Re: Chelsea 1-3 Atletico Madrid (agg 1-3) - 2nd leg discussion
Of course you should watch it. Even if it's going to be a dire game, it's still a CL semi-final 2nd leg and it's your duty as a goal-legacy member to watch such a game, if not for anything else but to be able to afterwards allocate blame on the forum about which side made the game more dire and are therefore a disgrace to the sport.

Re: Chelsea 1-3 Atletico Madrid (agg 1-3) - 2nd leg discussion
No joke, but if Chelsea's injury troubles persist to the midweek then I do not see them winning. Although they managed to beat Liverpool at the daunting stadium that is Anfield, I believe Atletico will have just as much belief as us given that this season they have surprised almost everybody. However, if Chelsea pull a surprise (which I think is fair to characterize a potential win as) it would be down to Mourinho's tactical genius and only that.

Beard wars. Ashley Cole vs Arda Turan
I'm going with Ashley Cole. What do you say?
Since the game is going to be so boring I couldn't find anything else entertaining regarding this match.
Since it's going to be 0:0 anyway, maybe this should decide the winner

Pretty sure Turan trimmed his beard. His beard is better anyway.
