By the time Shawn Michaels, arguably the greatest entertainer in history lost his career trying to break the streak and Triple fckin H failed to do it THREE times, it became clear that the streak should ever end.

Look at this video and think, after all this Shawn could not do it but Lesnar did?

I understand people saying that there was nobody better suited at beating the streak than Brock this year. But there's a simple solution. You feed him a jobber this year and spend a year finding a proper contender who doesn't hold WWE to ransom.

WWE stock is currently down over $5 per share after WWE released the numbers for the WWE Network this morning. As noted, they are currently at 667,287, not including potential failures to comply with subscription terms and six month commitment.

Undetaker's ending and the moment that came along with it was one of the finest moments in the history of any sports industry. It was vintage WWE in its halcyon years in writing.

Yet to have it ended by a journeyman fraud like Brock Lesnar is disgraceful, especially when Taker has ended far better wrestlers than him and in better matches.

It's not the end of the world and Taker was a nonfactor for pretty much 364 days a a year in the wrestling world the past few years. Move on.

Arq define "better wrestlers".

Because no one Undertaker has faced at WM is a better chain wrestler, mat technician and has a better amateur background than Lesnar.

Has he faced better characters and better entertainers? yes, lots of them but wrestler? i do doubt that.

Also for those saying HHH or HBK should have broke it instead.... i agree but thats not the point is it.

Its to do with timing and he obviously didn't want to break it then and now he does.

From the active guys there isn't a better choice IMO and the reaction is unfair to Lesnar IMO.

Stfu. Stop trying so hard to be the badass rebel, the Streak was a huge part of wrestling and now it's just fckin gone. And that too to a part timer who screwed the WWE royally by quitting with a one week notice at the time when he was their main man.

Yeah i'm disappointed taker lost but nowhere near as much as I would have been had he been involved in WWE in a monthly basis or so

Fact is for the past god knows how many years he hasn't been involved outside of 2 RAWs before WM and one of two after occasionally.

The shock factor was immense, but when that wears off it's not too bad really.
