CB, I also rewatched Prisoners last night. Jesus christ, it took my soul on a ride once again like it did the first time.
I strongly recommend End of Watch, you'll love it, I just know it. Jake Gyllenhaal is dat guy tbh!

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
I've seen it haha, I've watched all of these movies once but never rewatched them. Some of them aren't the same after the first time-- Prisoners and Flight weren't exactly the same after you know how it ends, Prisoners is intense and thrilling nonetheless, and Flight is a fantastic drama which is thoroughly enjoyable regardless of if you know the ending. All enjoyable movies on the second watch.
Enjoyed End of Watch a lot the first time, I'm sure I will this time as well. Looking forward to re-watching Inside Llewyn Davis--I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.
On a strong movie run right now, I'm thinking about re-watching Requiem for a dream as well.

CB, if you are on a row of watching deep movies add Good Will Hunting and Mystic River to the list.

So I know the Guardians of the Glaxy films are part of these MCU phases but will they actually join up with the Avengers?

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Robert Downey Jr. is on the verge of signing on to “Captain America 3,” a move that would bring the Civil War storyline from Marvel’s comicbooks to the bigscreen and trigger the start of a new phase of movies from Marvel Studios.
The actor is in final negotiations to play billionaire Tony Stark in the third installment, which is slated to begin production in the Spring for a May 6, 2016 release. Downey is already set to suit up as Iron Man for next year’s “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “The Avengers 3.”
The deal is significant for the Marvel cinematic universe considering the plot will pit Stark against Captain America’s alter-ego Steve Rogers, played by Chris Evans, as they feud over the Superhero Registration Act, which forces anyone with superhuman abilities to reveal their identities to the U.S. government and agree to act as a police force for the authorities.
Stark supports the program, but Rogers does not, saying it threatens civil liberties, causing sides to be taken and Rogers, among others, to go on the run to avoid arrest. The moral question and battle with his Avengers teammate essentially makes Stark a villain of sorts in “Captain America 3,” providing Downey with a meaty role he could play out into future Marvel films, including a fourth “Avengers.”
Marvel on Monday announced plans to reboot the Civil War comicbook miniseries in 2015, which will help introduce the story to new readers leading up to “Captain America 3.” The first crossover over Marvel’s biggest characters, including Spider-Man, was published in 2006.

If only Sony and Fox can rent Spiderman and Wolverine for just that movie(few hints that can happen). That would make it the greatest superhero film of all time. Probably even better than TDK(maybe)
ffs ffs

Piece of shit Sony have deprived us from seeing Spider Man teaming up with anybody for years. Need to get RG to become the CEO of Sony and sign off on selling his rights back to Marvel.

I watched The Purge: Anarchy and it was actually decent. A lot better than the first one that's for sure. It might be worth a watch if you thought the premise was intriguing and you're in the mood for an action movie.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
SO yeah, just watched Boyhood
and WOOOOOOOOOOW what a beautiful masterpiece. In terms of scope of art and perfection of beauty of a life of a young man to adulthood is just incredible.
Seriously, this film's demographic is certainly most of us here in GL. Recommend it to every single one of you. It should make you tear up and reminisce over your own life.
My personal favorite film of 2014 and goes straight into my top 10 of all time. AMAZING. 9.5/10.
Definite Oscar nomination for Linklater, the director, for me. He shot the film over 11 years ffs 11 goddam years and the actors just beautifully grew with the role.

Amazing casting, one of the best actors out there and a future Oscar winner.
Rumoured list for the role of Dr. Strange: Jared Leto, Oscar Isaac, Matthew McConaughey, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ethan Hawke, and Ewan McGregor

Don't know who he is but I trust you.
It's a bit strange with the whole TV and Movie universe being different though tbh. I know it would have been difficult to have the same actors playing the same characters in both TV and Movie but it will feel weird to see this flash and the tv flash. Oh well.
Also adding to that post. List of Films DC have confirmed

Interesting that Justice League movie is in two parts. Understandable though. Can introduce new characters in the 2nd one instead of putting all of them in one.
Not feeling the Cyborg or Suicide squad movies. Brave decision to make a movie on Cyborg. Could have done a Green Arrow instead or a batman origins with affleck.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Ezra Miller was amazing in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Also heard he was great in We Need to Talk About Kevin.
Isn't there almost confirmed a Batman solo for 2019? Pretty sure that's almost a given.
Who'd you like as Shazam and Green Lantern?
Would love Joe Manganiello as Shazam, would have loved Chris Hemsworth, if he wasn't already Thor.
As Green Lantern, I'm thinking Chadwick Boseman as a younger John Stewart or Idris Elba as the older version. Maybe Chris Pine as a Hal Jordon if they go that route.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
DC would have said it if it was confirmed. Maybe they held it back.
Would like a good child actor for Shazam and hope they alternate between them instead of showing full on the superhero. For the actual Shazam, I am not really sure. Liam Hemsworth?
Would Love Elba as John Stewart.
Wally West probably wouldn't even be born if that actor is playing Barry lol. He looks 20 or so.

I'm not saying at the same time, it's Barry's nephew or something right?
I was just saying that I'd love Ezra Miller as Wally instead of Barry. Since the Wally West is also extremely popular among fans in my age group.
Shazam needs to be huge physically, to not look completely weak next to Dwayne Rock. Don't know any child actors to be portray Billy Batson at the moment.. would have loved any of the two from Mud, if they were a couple of years younger.

Pretty sure they're saving the announcements of The Batman and MOS2 for Comic Con 15 or 16, just to have something to announce.
Also 4 a-list actors said to be in Suicide Squad film.

Can Idris Elba star in a DC film? He is Heimdall on Thor? Marvel should not have wasted him on that role ffs, he's be the perfect Black Panther. And I would love Gyllenhalla s Doctor Strange. McConaughey is the best actor out of the names but I can't see him playing the role of Strange.

If Marvel has any humanity they'd release Idris from that poverty role if he's offered the GL role tbh. I want Pedro Pascal as Dr. Strange, Gyllenhaal from that list.

Oh man DC is being very ambitious. But I still can't see them beating out what Marvel has done, so far, with their films.
Gyllenhaal or Jared Leto as Doctor Strange would both be absolutely fantastic. I just can't see McConaughey as Dr.Strange.
Aren't there rumors about Keanu Reeves as Dr.Strange?

Marvel is getting overrated way too much imo. In the same timespan DC has made 2 films better than anything Marvel's put out imho. Does anyone really consider Hulk, Thor1&2, Cap 1, IM 2&3 as anything more than enjoyable? I forgot about those movie an hour after watching them.
