American Hustle-

Hated it.

One of the most overrated movies of all time. How, just how did this film get nominated for 10 Oscars. Must have been a few brown envelopes passed underneath tables.

I liked it. It wasn't anything out of this world but it was enjoyable. I think this oscar hype might have skewed some people's expectations.

When it comes to American Hustle it seems like some people either liked it, or absolutely disliked it. One thing is for certain it isn't a great film. But it's quite good imo.

Rotten Tomatoes is hard to judge a film on, it doesn't really differentiate between a movie that most reviewers think is good or one that most think is amazing.
Hope it's great though. Looking more forward to X-men, rumour around the webs that it's better than Cap 2.

Finally got around to seeing CAP 2 so I can finish Agents of SHIELD.

Not sure what the hype was about. A good movie, but I wasn't completely blown away.

The Winter Soldier was the pick of the movie for me. Sebastian Stan looked the part so well done there. Love Anthony Mackie as an actor, but I didn't like this version of the Falcon.

And obviously.....ScarJo ffs :bow:

X Men = 93% on RT, 9.3 on imdb and 72 on metacritic.

Godzilla = 88% on RT, 9.1 on imdb and 63 on metacritic

They showed a scene between Fassbender and McAvoy on The Graham Norton Show not long ago. That alone was tremendous. Smile

Those ratings will surely come down though in a few weeks.

Godzilla lived up to the hype.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is one of my favorite story-lines, and I was worried this was going to be The Wolverine level bad, but surprisingly the movie was pretty good. Not great, given how convoluted this story-line was always going to be on screen if not done perfectly, but good enough and what I expect from a Singer film.

Oh, and for FFS, stay for the button :bow:
