Bayern Vs Arsenal
Allianz Arena
Tuesday 19:45 BST Kick Off
Dead Rubber
Let us not pretend that this match has anything left for us to take. No point in false hope and dreams. The tie is done like it was done last year. Yes we nearly came back last year but the thing last year was that Bayern didn't see us coming. They thought it was over and didn't care. This year they will be very careful and Pep doesn't make mistakes. They will come at us from the 1st whistle and a single Bayern goal will be the end of the tie. Unless someone decides to emulate Henry the Great which is impossible.
So the tie is dead. F it and concentrate on the North London Derby which is far far more important. Hope we rest players tomorrow too.
Team News
Gibbs is out for Arsenal along with Monreal, but Koscielny is back. Gibbs might make it for Sunday.
Everyone is fit for Bayern but Badstuber. Ribery is back too.
Probable Teams
Bayern: Neuer; Rafinha Boateng Dante Alaba; Lahm Kroos Bastian/Thiago; Ribery Goetze Robben
Arsenal: Fabianski; Jenkinson Vermaelen Hayden Sagna; Olsson Zelalem; Podolski Rosicly Ryo; Sanogo
Match Facts
-Bayern are 49 matches unbeaten
-Bayern are invincible
-Bayern can't be beaten
-It might get humiliating for us
Final Words
Please don't start Ozil or Cazorla Arsene.

Great Preview RG.
Just hope we stand up to them and any win would be a great achievement for us.
No Gibbs and Monrea?
I just want this game to be over and what ever happens happens and concentrate on realistic trophies, EPL and FA cup.

Re: Bayern Munich Vs Arsenal [2nd Leg]
All I ask is that we go out in a blaze of glory. Give them a bit of a scare again. Briefly flirt with going through but falling short of the last hurdle. That sort of thing.
In all seriousness, I can't see Bayern being as complacent this time around after what happened last season. At the very least, they shouldn't be. Weakened though we might be, we can give them a good game and they should be aware of that.
If we are to have any hope, then we need to score the first goal. If Bayern score it they'll just recycle the ball for the remainder of the game and it'll be game over. If we score it, then we're in the tie again. If we can somehow bring the same energy and penetration we had in the opening 10 minutes from the first leg, we'll have a chance of doing that.
It's all ifs but I'm a hopeful idiot so meh.

Haha, that preview was, er, different RG.
I would rest every player too - if it was FM14.
My focus is on Sunday already.

Re: Bayern Munich Vs Arsenal [2nd Leg]
It's refreshing to see how upbeat and positive ( with some critics of course) our game threads compared to Barcelona. Ventured there and boy oh boy, one would have thought they're about to get relegated while in fact they won 1st leg AWAY 2-0.
As for the game, number 1 priority: everyone stays fit, healthy by the end. Aside from that, I want a positive showing, not only good for fans but also for team morale prior the Yids battle this weekend.

Re: Bayern Munich Vs Arsenal [2nd Leg]
Tonight Bayern will get a good old beating, but they will go through on away goals.
Podolski and Ozil will score but a late goal from Bayern will put us down, but we will be happy win.

Re: Bayern Munich Vs Arsenal [2nd Leg]
Our team tonight?
If we concede early, we're going to do a lot of unneeded running, so let's scare them with an early goal!
Fabianski
Sagna Mertesacker Koscielny Vermaelen
Arteta Flamini
Chamberlain Özil Cazorla
Giroud

Re: Bayern Munich Vs Arsenal [2nd Leg]
What are the chances of Sanogo starting?
Super sub Giroud should come off the bench.
Podolski loves playing Bayern and scoring against them, hope starts instead of Cazorla.

Re: Bayern Munich Vs Arsenal [2nd Leg]
Bayern 1-6 Arsenal. Fabianski will score a freak goal and Vermaelen will nab a hat-trick. Bayern will pull one back via lucky deflection in injury time. Never in doubt.

I am not hopeful but i dont want them to humilate us. With Gibbs out injured means Verm will play there who is not very good at that position.

Sanogo can barely stay fit plus he is still not at the same level as Giroud is so i wouldnt worry if i was Giroud.Raptorgunner wrote:Sanogo is out also? wow it must be a happy day for Giroud no competition, just the way he likes it.

Thats the sad part, Sanogo is Giroud only competition and lately as you know he has been starting in big games and Giroud on the bench.

Its a good time to take his head off the girls he is going to see and concatenate one game. I am sure the German girls would wait for after the game.
