If Juventus could stop hoarding central defenders, that would be great.

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says the Bundesliga champions are not interested in signing Schalke star Julian Draxler.
The 20-year-old has attracted attention from several top European clubs over the last year, including the Bavarian giants as well as Arsenal. The Gunners had been close to signing the Germany international in January, having sent a delegation to Germany to negotiate a deal, but looked less likely to acquire the playmaker after he refused to rule out a move to the Allianz Arena.
Bayern sporting director Matthias Sammer had previously hinted at a move for Draxler too, but now Rummenigge has categorically ruled die Roten out of the race to sign the Germany international, insisting the club are only interested in signing players who are the finished article.
"I can assure that we will not buy Julian Draxler this summer," the 58-year-old told Welt am Sonntag.
"I do not know [if he wants to join Bayern]. We never talked to his agents. In my opinion the public do not understand our transfer policy yet.
"We will not buy any players from Dortmund or Schalke only to hurt them. We will buy only players who bring more quality to the club immediately.
"In the past we bought some players to be better prepared for the future because some of our players were becoming older than 30. But we will not do that anymore."

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. I
Costa used Liverpool to get a shiny, new contract at Atletico last summer. With that in mind, and Atletico challenging for La Liga, I'm of the opinion that he's far less likely to move this summer. Of course, Chelsea can always throw money at the issue. They may simply make Atletico an offer they can't refuse.S wrote:Diego Costa most likely.

Mandzukic is a very interesting prospect, though not one that I'd personally seen linked. He seems like a great fit for what Mourinho wants from a striker: powerful, capable of holding up play, clinical, and technical enough to create for others in the final third.
To be perfectly honest, I think Lukaku is good enough and deserving of a chance at his parent club. He has all the attributes that Chelsea are looking for, and he's already at the club. That said, I'm certain they will spend over 15 million on a striker this summer. It's jsut how Chelsea/Mourinho operate.

I absolutely love Pochettino as a manager. Style, pragmatism, and flexibility... He has the ability to be a "big club" manager. I can see him doing very well with Marseille in Ligue 1.Yohan Modric wrote:Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino will leave at the end of the season, which means he will be able to join Marseille, according to Le Parisien.

Ezequiel Lavezzi is in no doubt that Paris Saint-Germain are capable of signing Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
The four-time Ballon d'Or winner is under contract to the Blaugrana until 2018 and speculation is rife that he will be offered a new, improved deal at the end of the season.
However, Lavezzi feels that PSG, who are owned by the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), have the necessary financial resources to meet Messi's reported €250 million buy-out clause.
"Certainly a team like PSG could take a player like Leo Messi," the Argentine winger told Telefoot.
"In football, anything is possible. The club will have to see, and the player as well."
Lavezzi joined PSG from Napoli in 2012 and he is delighted with the way in which they have improved over the past two years, claiming that they are now in a position to win the Champions League.
"We have grown as a team," he enthused. "Other players have arrived. Day after day, we are progressing together.
"PSG are a team to watch. We are very strong now and we can win the Champions League."

Salomon Kalou has revealed he rejected the chance to join Arsenal on loan during the January transfer window.
The former Chelsea forward claims he had the opportunity to move to Arsene Wenger’s side on a temporary deal but wanted to finish the campaign with his current club Lille.
"A possible departure? Yes, to Arsenal,” the Cote d'Ivoire international told L'Equipe. “It could have been done as a last-minute loan.
“But I want to finish third, prepare for the World Cup and go to the Stade de France to compete in the final of the Coupe de France."

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. I
FC Copenhagen have distanced themselves from a potential move for Nicklas Bendtner after the Arsenal striker was pictured watching them on Sunday.
Bendtner watched Copenhagen give up a lead at Parken, the club's home ground, to draw 1-1 with Randers and it sparked rumours that the 26-year-old could head home to resurrect his career with the reigning Danish champions.
But Copenhagen director Anders Horsholt dismissed that suggestion when asked if Bendtner could be a transfer target for the capital club next season.
"We are not talking about that," Horsholt told reporters.
"[Bendtner] is in town and is an old Copenhagen boy, who during his childhood days [attended games at Parken]. He wanted to see some football, it isn't anything more than that.
"Unfortunately we couldn't give him a win."
Bendtner was pictured alongside Horsholt and Frank Arnesen, the sporting director at Metalist Kharkiv in Ukraine, who used to work for Hamburg, Chelsea and Tottenham.
It is widely expected the Danish forward will leave Arsenal at the end of the current campaign, having played just nine Premier League matches so far this season.
Late last year, Bendtner revealed he would be interested in returning to his home-town club at some point in the future.
"I like the idea of finishing at FC Copenhagen and try the Superliga at the end of my career," Bendtner told Danish newspaper Politiken.
Bendtner signed for Arsenal from Kjobenhavns Boldklub in 2004, one of two clubs that merged their professional teams to form FC Copenhagen in 1991.
