I am not sure about this Essian deal. I can see that his wages will be high whole he plays in the spot in midfield we have the least problem with NDJ.

Also, this screams of a temporary signing of an experienced player.

I would however welcome the Paletta deal.

I don't think a sub for NDJ is of a paramount concern at the present moment. Especially since we've switched to a 4-2-3-1.

I'm not entirely sure about this, why have we signed Essien when we it was reported that we already agreed personal terms with Fernando in the summer?

More importantly, if any of the last few matches showed anything, its that we need a proper RW (Or LW if you want to shift Robinho RW) The depth with the 3 behind Balo is terrible. Kaka, Binho, Honda and Birsa. 3 of these guys are AMs, Birsa morphs into Birshat on the wings.

This transfer reeks of a band aid move because of Monty and Muntari's suspension in CL. Like most of our usual transfer.

The typical transfer window for us goes like this:

1. We have to reduce the squad size
2. Players get injured/suspended
3. Sign band aid replacement on high wages
4. Squad size is larger than the start of the window

Did i forget to mention that most of this happens in the last week of the transfer window?

I really hope we have a plan for next summer, the sooner Sogliano/Prade/Sabatini/Preziosi/Secco/Me/Dante/Dost/M99/Forza/RedOranje/Gotze/Kiether Sutherland/Janet Jackson arrive the better. Galliani needs to be deposed.

LOL we start signing old has-beens all over again, ffs, Essien must be 35 + at least. (in real African age)

Can nobody in the management understand that our midfield has a total pace of 0 and will be overrun on the counter countless times? Jezas

Good GK imo, but I would rather Perin as the the latter is only 21 and could be our GK for the next 15 years.

AC Milan are the latest side to be linked with a move to sign Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic at the end of the season.

The Serbian will be out of contract at the end of the campaign and has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford with Juventus and Fiorentina also reportedly interested in landing his services.

Tuttomercatoweb.com reports that the Rossoneri could offer Vidic a four-year contract to land the former Spartak Moscow star.

AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has rubbished speculation linking him with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

It had been claimed in the English press that Blues boss Jose Mourinho was keen on a reunion with a player that he worked with during his time in charge of Milan.

However, Balotelli told Rai Sport: "They put out something about me every day. Nothing is true."

The Italy international also dismissed the prospect of a move to the Parc des Princes.

"Me to PSG? Absolutely not," Balotelli declared.

Milan confirm Taarabt talks

Milan’s official television station confirmed negotiations with QPR and Fulham to swap Cristian Zaccardo with Adel Taarabt.

The news was announced on Milan Channel this afternoon, though a deal is not yet complete.

Taarabt had been linked with a move to the Rossoneri last year, but was not taken any further for the Moroccan international.

According to Sport Mediaset, Zaccardo would join Fulham in a straight exchange for Taarabt, even though he is on loan from QPR.

Taarabt is a 24-year-old who can play in any of the supporting roles required for Coach Clarence Seedorf’s 4-2-3-1 system.

Zaccardo is a 32-year-old centre-back who has made eight appearances in all competition for Milan this season, but has been a bit-part player since arriving from Parma in January 2013.

December 2012

Taarabt wrote:My agent is in talks with Galliani, but it depends on what happens with Robinho and (reported AC Milan target Javier) Pastore. Milan aren’t going through a glorious period now, and they’re no longer a part of the top clubs.
'However, if I joined Milan then it would open up the doors for me to great clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona

You don't want Taarabt. He is terrible. He'll annoy you more than Robinho.

Honda and Kaka are miles better, not sure why you'd be after him.

If we sign Adel Taarabt I am done with this club. Why?

-Signing a player who has thoroughly insulted Milan.
-Another premadonna who represents ZERO of the character traits needed to wear the Rossoneri shirt.
-Succumbing to bargain deals without any of the previous shrewd vision we had before, as if Essien wasn't enough humiliation.
-The fact that he feels he is Gianni Rivera but is closer to Corrado Grabbi.
-For all his flashes of skill he possesses ZERO footballing IQ, just like our board.

I don't think we can get a better quality CB; our options are the likes of Astori, Paletta, and Doria.

It's hard for any club to get a quality CB at present, I get the feeling that a few clubs are looking, with no luck.
