Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
Long-time Everton target Fernando is ready to sign a pre-contract agreement with AC Milan to join them next summer.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez attended a work permit hearing for the £15million Porto midfielder on transfer deadline day last summer but was unable to complete a deal due to the delay in Manchester United agreeing a fee for Marouane Fellaini.

Manchester United are reportedly mulling over a move for AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino after cooling their interest in Juventus star Claudio Marchisio.
CaughtOffside understands that David Moyes has grown tiresome of the outdrawn pursuit of the Juve man after the Serie A side have flip flopped over his availability and the player’s insistence that he is not looking to move overseas anytime soon.
And instead, the United chief has been weighing up a move for AC Milan’s Italian international midfielder Antonio Nocerino after being made aware that the 28-year-old might be available.
Nocerino has only played a bit part role so far this term, making 13 appearances across all competitions and now faces a future away from the San Siro following the club’s interest in Valencia midfielder Ever Banega.
United had also previously held an interest in Argentine international Banega, but he is thought to favour a move to Italy should he eventually decide to move on from the Mestalla.
Nocerino began his career with Juventus, and then bounced around several clubs between the top flight and Serie B before settling with Palermo in 2008. After three impressive seasons in Sicily he was snapped up by Milan and was a mainstay in the first team until this season.
He has earned 15 caps for the Italian national side, and was even a part of the starting XI that dumped England out of Euro 2012 at the quarter final stage.
Nocerino has been put on a shortlist of names that could face a possible exit from Milan this month that also includes Cristian Zaccardo, Philippe Mexes and Alessandro Matri, and he may even be made available for a cut down price.
United boss Moyes has been eager to add to his midfield options after suffering an indifferent first half to the season and a disappointing quest for new talent during the summer transfer window. However, he is being backed financially by the club’s owners and Moyes is eager to bring in the best players available in a bid to help the club become title contenders before it gets too late.
Though Nocerino is not Moyes’ first choice, his ability and experience have put him at the forefront of the Scot’s mind as he would be available for a fraction of what he would normally be available for.

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has insisted that Alessandro Matri will not be joining Sampdoria on loan.
The former Juventus striker has scored just once since his move to the San Siro in the summer and has been touted with a move away from the Rossoneri before the end of the transfer window.
“For the moment there are no negotiations with Sampdoria to send Matri to the Blucerchiati,” Galliani told Sampdorianews.net.
“No director has contacted me to ask for a loan so far.”
Lazio and Fiorentina have also been linked with the player, while there has been talk of a potential swap deal involving Inter’s Zdravko Kuzmanovic.

Paolo Maldini’s teenage son Christian Maldini has joined Brescia on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 17-year-old defender will be hoping to demonstrate the same early form his father showed with the possibility of first team football in Serie B.
Though AC Milan fans may be disappointed to see the player wear the jersey of another club the transition may prove essential in his development.
However Brescia have a large squad size and their own youth academy brimming with young talents making Maldini’s task a tough one.
Milan have also loaned Davide Anelli and Giovanni Foresta to Serie B side Carpi for the reason of the season.
Best of luck to him. He can develop well in Serie B.

Besiktas have turned their attention to AC Milan striker Robinho after being turned down by Ronaldinho earlier this week.
The Turkish club are on the hunt for a marquee signing and were close to landing Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho before he signed a new contract earlier this week with Atletico Miniero, ending any possibility of a move.
As a result the Turkish club have been linked with a move for Robinho, but speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, the player’s agent Marisa Ramos revealed that she has not been contacted by any Besiktas representatives.
“Personally I have not been contacted by Besiktas, nor any other club. If they [Besiktas] contacted Milan it is another matter, but I do not know. I can say Robinho is happy at Milan and wants to respect his contract with the Rossoneri.”

Ter Stegen is widely reported to have agreed a deal that will see him move to the Camp Nou at the end of the current season as the replacement for Victor Valdes.
And that has Gladbach on the lookout for a replacement of their own, with reports in Denmark suggesting that Lindegaard now tops the German side's list.
Lindegaard has also been linked with a move to Serie A side AC Milan, but does not appear keen on such a move after previously stating that watching Italian football is like watching paint dry.
Lindegaard's agent Michael Stensgaard was circumspect when asked about the possibility of a move, saying: "There will always be interest in a keeper who has got Anders' qualities. But we are discussing internally, with Manchester United, regarding what will happen with Anders in the future."

Fiorentina look set to continue their 'buy low' strategy by bringing in Alessandro Matri, who has been distinctly underwhelming for AC Milan since joining from Juventus. Rossoneri interim coach Mauro Tassotti has apparently confirmed that Matri is heading for a medical in Florence.

Andrea Petagna has returned to Milan.
This would almost seemingly confirm Matri's exit.

Giving Petagna on loan, buying Matri for a big money for a crappy player like him, giving Matri on loan and bringing back Petagna from loan. Maybe it's just me, but that don't make any sense.

Di Marzio: Seedorf wants Cesar Henrique Martins of Brazilian 2nd division club Ponte Preta. He's a right footed CB who was born Dec 1992. The club was relegated from the Brazilian Serie A in 2013. Is Cesar any good?

One of Clarence Seedorf’s first actions at Milan Coach will reportedly be to hand Urby Emanuelson a contract extension.
The versatile Dutchman is out of contract in the summer and had been seen as on his way out of San Siro.
However, on from his arrival as Coach in place of Max Allegri, compatriot Clarence Seedorf is widely believed to hold value in Emanuelson’s abilities, particularly from left-back.
The Gazzetta dello Sport report today that the new Coach has already indicated to the player his intentions to rely on him in first-team affairs, whilst reports in the Netherlands indicate that a contract renewal is going to be put forward.

Urby Emanuelson has revealed that he has already spoken with AC Milan about extending his current contract with the club.
The Netherlands international has yet to nail down a regular berth in the Rossoneri line-up since joining from Ajax in 2011 and spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham.
However, according to Emanuelson, even before it was announced that fellow Dutchman Clarence Seedorf would be returning to San Siro as coach, he had been told that he will soon be offered a new deal.
"I had a conversation with vice-president Adriano Galliani and [owner] Silvio Berlusconi," the versatile left-back told De Telegraaf. "They made clear their intention to go over a new contract with me.
"But it is not there yet and there is no meeting scheduled. They currently have other things on their minds!"
The 27-year-old Emanuelson's current contract is set to expire at the end of the season.

Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has celebrated Alessando Matri’s capture and hinted that he won’t be staying just until the summer.
The former Cagliari man yesterday completed a move from Milan on an initial loan deal to the take him through to the end of the season.
However, in presenting the 29-year-old to reporters today, the club’s sporting director has made clear that they are intending to keep the striker beyond that summer expiry.
“For sure we have increased upon our beauty, even as a team that already expresses itself beautifully,” Prade commented on Matri’s arrival.
“In previous situations, we would have never been able to think about Matri. We have always liked Alessandro and we are glad that he is here with us.
“Matri will be with us on a basic loan, but that was the only way to complete this operation in a short time.
“But, I want to emphasise that no-one is just passing through here.
“With the capture of Matri and [soon to be completed loan capture of] Anderson [from Manchester United], we have broken our original €5m salary cap and for that we are grateful to the Della Valle family.”
Fingers crossed

Cannot see the point of extending Urby an extension. Despite some of his promise as LB he has been average beyond further faith. I suspect his Dutch/Surinamese and Ajax connection is a heavy influence.

The Emanualson extension is not a rumor. He said that he talked to Galliani and Berlusconi and while official negotiations have not begun, they dd tell him that his contract will be extended. And I don't mind that at all TBH. He is a decent backup, good going forward and can play against mid-table teams to rest starters. Also, he is not close to being one of the worst players on our squad, so if we are getting rid of deadwood, we should be looking elsewhere.

Stopped reading at Tuttosport.
I would personally prefer that Emanuelson is not retained, even as a back-up, however given that we could gain no fee for him in the summer I am prepared to stomach the extension. One can only hope that ability wins out and he remains only a back-up.
