Tbf, Just standing next to Bendtner automatically makes you less attractive. Bendtner is a grown man, and has matured so he will not hurt others around him anymore, after all he is the greatest striker we have ever seen.

I must say though that it's tough to choose 11 starters from your VERY handsome squad, Giroud is obviously up there, one for the emo rock crowd, but Ramsey shouldn't be benched imo, he's very dreamy.

Wilshere's handsome too, maybe more to the older generation, he could've played an upright sailor in some 50s movie about the Battle of Madagascar.

Rosicky on the other hand, with his hairband, surely is popular with the impressionable pre-teen faction, Merte is the one for those looking for an older brother type, while more kinky and sexually adventurous people might be intrigued by the perverse fantasy of being disciplined by the stern and merciless hands of the Falanguist death squad commander Arteta.

Poldi probably appeals to those ladies and gents who adhere to the classic credo of "Dumm fickt gut", Vermaelen no doubt would be the most sought-after stud in any sex party, gay or otherwise, and Walcott would be there to cuddle with you for hours, in a shy and sensitive way.

French press: Ntep to Arsenal is very close

According to a report on Auxerre TV, Franco-Cameroonian striker Paul-George Ntep is on the cusp of joining Arsenal on a five-year deal.

The website claims the Gunners will shell out €10 million to take the France under-21 striker off the hands of the Ligue 2 side who have already lined up Serbian attacker Nikola Stojiljkovic as a replacement.

Yesterday Auxerre’s president went on record saying he suspected Ntep had travelled to London for negotiations but made clear that no bid had been received from the Gunners. Ligue 1 side Rennes are believed to have lodged a bid in the region of €8 million.

There’s nothing official yet, but this rumour seems to be gathering momentum all the time.

Were Ntep to sign for the Gunners he’d be the fouth player from Auxerre to make the move to N5 following the likes of Abou Diaby, Bacary Sagna and Yaya Sanogo.

Weird that he is being hailed as a striker when he plays at LW. Perhaps Arsene wants to convert HIM into a striker and not Draxler.

Ntep has a tonne of pace and is quite strong he has a lot of potential but I think we need more ready players in January rather than gambling on a kid.

There's also word that Ntep will be loaned straight back out after he signs. It's doubtful he's being signed to have an impact for the remainder of this season, and it won't mean that Wenger isn't still looking at bringing in someone to make a more immediate impact.

Signing young talent is always great to see in many positions, but strikers have high expectations placed upon them in systems that only use 1 forward these days, so we pretty much need a star signing if we're getting someone in there. I won't complain if we sign Ntep though, particularly if he's not being brought in as our striker solution and simply as a prospect for the future on the LW; his presence could help us even if he isn't loaned out as further cover on the wings without Theo.

We have to keep in mind that Park, Bendtner and Ryo might/most likely all leave in the summer. It's best to sign him now and loan out or whatever then to wait and see him go to City or something.

lol seriously though, It's Arsene you need to trust. If he wants him in then he is worth it and Arsene sees something in him.


I'll still say that there is too much noise with this transfer. Most likely we will try for him in the summer or not at all.

If we wait until summer he along with everyone else that has any quality will not want to be bothered until after the world cup. After the world cup we take the chance on him being twice as much or found out. So if at all possible we should finish this business right now.

he won't be twice as much as in summer he'll have the release clause.
If anything, he'll be more if you try to buy him now, because why would Schalke let him go now for the same amount they're bound to get anyway in summer, without losing him instantly?

In summer there might be more clubs interested, but to be honest I guess the serious rivals are already interested anyway, so it's all about persuading the player and agreeing terms, and not about a transfer bidding war.

I can see it happen in summer, now would be strange. He's cup tied, he'll need time to get accustomed, even more so if you indeed try to change the position he's used to, and I really don't think this latter half of the season is the right time for that either for you or for him.
