that boca which lost to corinthians (your team) in 2012 libertadores final was coached by falcioni, not bianchi.

for me, riquelme almost won the libertadores for that average boca team. riquelme also one of the contributor that sent your team out from the 2013 libertadores round 16.

Riquelme was quiet in the 2nd leg.. and the mood on the Boca team was mixed, since players like Roncaglia (who scored) were not getting paid like he should have and just wanted to leave for Fiorentina by the time the 2nd leg came. He didn't even celebrate the goal ffs.

Also Riquelme did his invisible act against Newells. Dat Maxi and Scocco.

Yea, but even still the amount of corruption and how poor the league is compared to the early 2000s and 90s is ridiculous to me.

Teams not paying their players wages, selling great players for a couple mil, bankruptcy, etc. Argentina futbol compared to Brazilian futebol economically is not even close.

Congrats to the San Lorenzo fans. It must have been a crazy and wild night for them. The team, the coaching staff, and the management really embarrassed themselves in 2014. They can't even whine about fan support this time either. The fans represented well in the Libertadores. I ain't even that mad though. As a Botafoguense, you come to expect these things.
