Man Utd also have Rooney.

Only Liverpool really need a player like him from the "bigger" sides.

Italy can't afford him and neither can Bundesliga (Buyern don't need him).

He should just go back to Spain or even France. Real Madrid, Athletico Madrid, PSG and Monaco are the only clubs who could do with him and can afford him aswell. I would incl. Liverpool but Mou will never sell him to another English club.

Well, yeah, United has Rooney, but let's be honest, Rooney is better as striker and Mata is better than Rooney as AM.

You're probably right, but you can't possibly fit van Persie, Rooney and Mata in one balanced team. Unless you're thinking about selling one of Rooney/van Persie.

Again it would be an unneccesary signing. They need some wingers, Young, Valencia, Nani all rotten lol and maybe a CM.

I think you can. Rooney could play as Left forward or Mata as right winger, or rotate between the three of them.

Yeah pretty much all Man Utd's wide players are absolutely crap.

Said for a while that playing the way they do they need to invest into a couple of genuine quality wide players.

Rooney and Van Persie as a partnership is fine but they need players either side of them.

As for Mata maybe City? they are best when they play 4-2-2-2 or some variation of it and Nasri can't really relied upon and Mata and Silva hovering behind Aguero and Negredo would be great i imagine.

Outside of that you are looking outside of England tbh.

not the point, Di Maria is massively underrated and would be a step down trade, only benefiting Barca.
it would be another signing of Madrid based on name and nationality not based on skill of even fitting in with the team.

i am having a hard time figuring out which team he should/would go to.. thought id really like to see him back in la liga i dont think the 2 need him, maybe atletico if they can get him on the cheap.

not a dortmund type signing but he would be brilliant there if he could fit klopps style.

Why do Atleti need him though? both their wide mids are extremely hard working.

Unless you want to pair him with Costa and make Villa a depth option.

Mata isnt going anywhere.

He is a world class bench player needed to keep the bench warm for the first XI(mainly Oscar).

You saw When Oscar was subbed today? He went right up to Mata and said: "My seat warm little guy?", and Mata moved over to allow the true Chelsea no.10 a warm seat.

These things dont appear on the stat sheet, but a true football fan knows how important this is. You expect Oscar to sit on some cold, or even worse an artificially warmed, bench in Switzerland midweek after he has carved up Basel at St. Jakobs park? Blasphemy!

Mata knows he will have to be on his A game if he expects to keep this important role. Remember, De Bruyne obviously didnt take this role seriously, and now has to watch the matches from the stands
