And yes, I can argue. Since Messi got injured, you can clearly see that he has not been fit, he hasn't even been our best player. Hence why alot of people were worried about Messi's performance before he got injured. So how can an injured Messi be the 2nd best player in the world? Because he played good against PSG? It wasn't even his performance that most people talked about after the game, it was how the mentality of the Barca players and fans changed instantly after he came on in.

Don't be ridiculous, Messi has been Barcelona's best player this season, even unfit, so your illogical line of thought doesn't work. Can you say who has been better for Barcelona than Messi, I would definitely like to argue that.

Then what the hell are you talking about me being a Iniesta fangirl? I have never said anything over the top regarding Iniesta, especially not compared to what you have said about Messi.

If we are talking about the first few games before he got injured, then obviously he was the best, but since then a couple of player has been better. Like Valdes for a start, Neymar as well, he was even the best against Real Madrid and, seeing as you like stat, he is the player with the most assist in Europe, Busquets, like always, has been brilliant. That's 3 players.

We are talking the whole this season, not first games, not last games, not clasico. Every game. Valdes has been great, but that is more reflected on how bad he was before, and comparing to goalie isn't as easy. Though I would say Valdes has been Barca's second best player.

Neymar, has been Barca's second best out field player, but you pretty deluded that if you think that scoring 1 goal from every 11 shots and making 1.9 dribbles per every turnover is anywhere near of scoring 1 goal from every 5 shots and making 6.2 dribblers per every turnover, while playing in more contested areas and being more marked, for example. And Messi should have already like 4 assists to Neymar, if the guy could actually score, yet he have 0.

I never agreed. I said that Iniesta is my favorite player, and then a little behind comes Messi.

True, Messi might have had more assist if Neymar had finished better, but so could Neymar have if Messi had finished better in a couple of occasion.

Edit: I went into whoscored and they are saying that Neymar dribbles 4.0 per games and is only dispossed 0.2 more times than Messi. Neymar's stats are almost identical to Messi's, the big difference is the amount of turnovers and shot taken per game.

Not admitting negative thing isn't fanboyism, if the negative thing is untrue or derived falsely, where as insisting something illogical and untrue is fangirlism.
