That error is one of the main reasons why I'm happy that we're not getting Courtois despite the Catalan press and Barca board campaigning hard for him. Already world class on the line but when he has to anticipate play behind a high line back 4 (Atletico chasing the game and thus pushing forward, this is how Barca's defense plays by default) and come off his line he doesn't look that assured. His lack of ballplaying ability being another reason. Obviously won't be an issue for an antifootball club like Chelsea. :coffee:

hell maybe even the current best keeper.

he is not very good coming off his line, outside of the box he is not the fastest, not surprised. i never claimed he was perfect, but he is the best

Another terrible performance, I get the feeling he's carried by Atletico's fantastic defense which doesn't allow many shots in prime positions, whenever the protection isn't there... for a moment... he makes a silly mistake.

But he's a young GK who will only improve, isn't better than Cech... atleast for now.

don't get the hate. the guy is legit. only ter stegen is better than him in his group of age imo. Casillas' mistake was worse btw.
