But why a winger? Although I guess he can play as striker, too? Where's he going to play? Bench Coutinho or Sterling? Also casts a shadow on Ibe's future with us.

I think BR must be having a plan, how to cope up without another CM if we dont get someone, because I think anyways Allen is coming back from injury and BR would have told the committe if he needed it that desperately hmm

Is he really that good? Never seen him play much even for ukraine? What type of player is he? Is he a goal scorer?

I know most want a defensive reinforcement but think singing a 3rd goal scorer to to complement SAS is more as important than a full back or DM. If the new signing can convert even 50% of chances which Coutinho Sterling and Henderson blaze over the bar we will be out of sight at half time in almost all our matches imo

Under €20 million seems reasonable. But I have seen only bits and pieces of him.

Because he can do everything Konoplyanka can do (going by a very small sample of games in Yevhen's case) much more efficiently in a harder league.

Don't see why he would go to Tottenham for sporting reasons over us. If they offer him more money, then okay, but we are able to match Tottenham's wage offer, if we want to.

Oleg Luzhny has called Liverpool and Spurs target Yevhen Konoplyanka a "headless chicken" who is not suited to Premier League football.
Looks like Dnipro owner Ihor Kolomoyskyi may take some persuading to sell Konoplyanka. He's a multi-billionaire and doesn't need to sell.
According to a source in Ukraine, Liverpool have upped their offer for Konoplyanka to 19.4m euros. Prepared to pay him £60k-a-week.
This source in Ukraine also claims Spurs are out of the race, but that Liverpool now face competition from an unnamed German side.
