This is a must win game for Allegri, he will most probably get replaced by Inzaghi if he does not win this. Not too optimistic about this.

It's also the last "easy" game in a long time. In October we got Ajax (A), Juventus (A), Udinese (H), Barca (H), Parma (A), Lazio (H).

Can't see us getting a lot of points next month.

Samp haven't been any good either, so hoping ('expecting' would be too big a word to use in our current situation) that we'd somehow dig a win.

I was very impressed with Allegri today, he is learning to improvise and made smart decisions in this match; for example, his substitution of emanuelson with muntari was spot on. I am seeing improvements and if he continues doing that, I would be excited to see him coach our team for many years to come.

Now that Allegri is learning to improvise, I can have more faith going into matches even when many of our main players are out. It is now the work of our management and the fitness team to help Allegri, simple, he needs better players.

Also, Birsa has impressed me a lot over the past few games, he plays with his heart like Poli. These are the players that we should be looking for, players that play for the team.

Poli and Birsa were fantastic tonight. Matri has showed us how much we miss Pazzo.

I am really impressed with Birsa. I never heard of him before his transfer was finalized and did not really expect much from him given that he did come in exchange for Antonini. But he has been really good so far. Genoa-Milan partnership strikes again!

The funny thing is you put an army in front of Robinho he will get a goal. You give him a completely empty net and he cannot finish.

I had Birsa when he was an unknown in my 2008 pro master league.. Talking of discovering talent, I used to have Monto, Birsa, Balotelli, Poli, Abate, Emmanuelson, Hamsik, Nuri Sahin etc in my team even before they became very popular.. I have a good eye for talent, I surely can do a better job than Braida

uzo, I had always signed poli and he always exploded into a beast in a few seasons xD

Back to the match, Zapata is a good back up center back, but we need to get a good starter soon. I'm hoping by january, but with the number of players in our squad it seems impossible.

Actually, I trust Bonera more than Zapata. In the most ideal situation, we need 2 great CBs and Mexes should be their back up.

To be fair to him, he was one of those few bright spots in the first half and his general play was quite good.

This wasn't a great performance by any means. However, this would be the best we could have got from the current crop. Hope we get to watch our first team soon.

Birsa is a pleasant surprise in what has mostly been an unpleasant season.

What really matters was the result and we got it . Just a win can win you the world sometimes and it's no different when it comes against Sampdoria , even this way.

The way many see our situation right now is off the mark , but i am not surprised. We are Milan , we are supposed to convince and win all the time , but there's also reality , which is enlightening if you want to leave the cave.

Finding some sort of balance between the two , will help to really understand Milan's situation atm .
