Its not completely true. Although, I don't mind signing Aguero!
From what I've read there's a good chance that Pinto would be 3rd GK or part of the coaching staff. That would be a very good idea especially if we're playing next season with 2 inexperienced GKs Marc ter Stegan and Masip. Its good to keep Pinto & Puyol close to the squad.

Signing Aguero, would definitely mean we're going to sell Alexis.

IMO, Alexis should be valued at 30-35. Aguero 45-50. If Messi convinces Aguero to join us, maybe we would have a swap deal [Alexis + 15M for Aguero]

the news is probably taken out of context. Messi probably asked from the board to show some concrete plans that they want to be competitive and mentioned Kun as an example (also his preference obviously). And he is right to do so, our management was atrocious the last 3 years!

I'm willing to bet it's simply BS...

RB & RW. Cuadrado is a winger who can play as a Right back.
He has 10 league goals and 4 assists in Seria A with Fiorentina this season. I never really watched him, but I read that Zubizarreta wants him because he's impressed with his work rate. So will he be Alexis or Alves' replacement? or maybe both. With Montoya getting more playing time as a RB?

honestly only see cuadrado working if we play 3 at back.. even then i see it rather bad.

If any move means Montoya getting more time, I am opposed to it.

I hate to be the one to say it, especially since he's a La Masia graduate, but Montoya is a Segunda level defender and isn't good enough for Barca.

Montoya haven't played much to judge him really.
I though he played well against Granada, when he had the chance. Carvajal is not more talented than Montoya for example. But, he had the chance to start regularly especially after Arbeloa's injury and proved him self.

I hate Madrid as much as anyone here, I don't particularly think Carvajal is anything special either, but he's certainly more talented than Montoya.

Montoya has played more than enough to judge. Watching his performances I struggle to think at what he's good at. I guess he's fast and he can overlap semi decently. He's like a right sided Alba except even worse.

i'd like to see more of montoya to be honest, but from what i did see from him..
he is bad at lb, and not so much better at rightback but maybe if he did get more time he'd improve..
loaning him out would be a good idea, unless we sell adriano as-well.

Also, Cuadrado instead of Sagna would be a terrible move. We really ought to go to Sagna. He'll be free and he's defensively solid. Not bad going forward by any means, but he's no Alves/Cuadrado. It does help balance out the backline.

Also, he CAN play CB, so he fits the Abidal mould of being able to stay back and act as a 3rd CB at times.

He's been playing at Arsenal a long time so we no he's no slouch when it comes to technical ability, and his passing is definitely good enough. He ticks all the boxes IMO, I'm convinced he's the RB we need.

Cuadrado is the same type of player as Alves. This would be fine if he had Alves defensive skill. Alas, he does not.

We will not go for Sagna because if he is no trash.....i mean when did we buy a good player from Arsenal other than Henry in his late hours......
I completely agree Montaya is not a barca quality...in fact i think the guy is extremely lucky he still is here.....And really he is just a worst version of Alba....he got a poor touch poor defending.....other than his pace which ends up in nothing i cant point out the lad`s single good thing.......
About sagna, am i wrong to say he also has the tendency of sometimes going forward unnecessarily??
