Well, according to the latest rumours Roma aren't letting Benatia go anywhere and will say so in a presser tomorrow. Forget about him.

It's between Marquinhos, Mathieu, Miranda, Fabian Schär etc.

Basically Pique-Mascherano will stay intact.

The Benatia rumours have died down since the last rumour about his agent being in Barca a week and a half ago. I'm sure he won't come. He probably would if Barca offered € 40M+, everyone has a price after all. But they won't. They probably value him about € 20M (and I can't even blame them, he went for € 12M last summer).

They are wasting their time with Marquinhos right now until PSG tell us to *bleep* off in 2 months and we panic buy Mathieu or Fazio as our main CB option.

this team is not going to be rebuilt we are only buying the players to replace the ones that have left.

and manager saying montoya and sergi roberto aren't leaving confirms it

at most we are getting 2 keepers 1 defender from the looks of things i am hoping though that someone changes their mind

your team doesnt need to be rebuilt tho. you need a new gk, god knows how u left valdes go , you have ter stegen and you even managed to replace pinto

a new starting CB with Pique, and keep everyone, Alves most importantly.

a new alternative to Xavi because he is near done. and your attackers are excellent. a bit of depth here and there, and that`s 3 new starters, and guys like rafinha and deulofeu coming back to play back up. there is nothing to rebuild.

if we weren't transfer banned for next season i'd agree with you but we probably will be

we have an excess in wingers, excess in midfield with many players that do not fit our mold (cesc, song, maybe even sergi roberto)

our defence is shat, our best player is alves who is declining with age and his replacement is montoya who has not impressed anyone bar free_cat which doesn't mean anything.

we could last maybe one season with a new centerback like you say but another season would be horrible.

Bit kneejerk seeing as this my first time really paying attention to him, but this Bruno Martin's Indi may be someone Barcelona should consider.

Pretty mobile, left footed, can play leftback, centerback or left defender in a back 3 and seems to be pretty adept with the ball at his feet.

A guy I have seen more and still like is Blind, the leftback of Ajax and Holland, son of Danny. Can play in midfield too but as a leftback I am impressed with his defending, two footedness and crossing.
