Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V2
That's awesome. Props to Cisse!aleumdance wrote:Papiss Cisse opened the doors of his home to young Newcastle fans as the striker looks to find his scoring boots for the new season.
The Toon No 9 and the lucky supporters played FIFA, pool and had a kickabout in the garden as Cisse cooked a barbecue at his home in Ponteland, Northumberland.
The star fielded questions from the fans and their parents, explaining why he put on the event.
I’ve liked it here from day one. I feel very much at home,' he told the Chronicle.
'I like the area and the supporters and the city. For me now it is all about making them happy.
'I wanted to spend more time with my fans. They are very important to me. I have missed them over the summer so I wanted to see them again at the start of the season.
'It is a gift for them at the start of the season.'
Cisse is renowned locally for holding these types of events as he handed each child a signed shirt, with a few of them fans he has kept in touch with since his arrival on Tyneside in 2012.
The striker let the youngsters have the free run of his luxury home, which includes a pool table - with his name emblazoned across it - and a giant screen to play EA Sports' FIFA 14.
The striker also gave the youngsters some shooting tips as they played football in his garden.
Cisse caused controversy at Newcastle over the summer over the club's sponsor Wonga, but has since resolved the matter and has led the line for Alan Pardew's men this season, although he has yet to find the net.

when he sign for Chelsea, he should not try this stunt lol, even I would fake fan allegiance and come
But I don't get those boys faces, they should be ecstatic, or at least reasonably happy, and they look... bored!

I *bleep* love the PL. Look at Hull dominating City at their own ground. We should loan Lukaku out to them ffs

The wankfest was sickening. They may well win the thing but they certainly aren't walking anything.Firenze wrote:City to walk the league with Pellegrini they said

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V2
Pellegrini hypers are lurking, waiting for him to turn it around - AND THEN they will all be "he was struggling to adapt to the EPL at first, but now he could win the title", "he is a tactical genius able to overcome anything", "Man C didn't spend enough money, he's doing very well with what he has at his disposal" and all kinds of crap. So let's enjoy the moment.
