'Bild' information: Bayern will sell Luiz Gustavo for as much as they bought him from Hoffenheim (€17m or £14.5m). Chelsea, Arsenal, Wolfsburg and Spartak Moskau interested.

After Lisandro Lopez deal was done, Lyon didn't want to lose Gomis tbh... but they are still afraid of OM. If OM gets another final "no" for Thauvin from Lille, they would go after Gomis. They just made a 7.5 mil offer for Thauvin, which is not far from the 8 mil needed for Gomis.

Gignac is not reliable enough in terms of being fit. He's fat again lol. That's why this is on the table. Baup and him got into it last night after he got yanked at the 65th min.

Legal case is crap. Lyon will never win. OM will just wait them out as hearing is on the 27th i think. Don't need Gomis immediately.

He can play CB too and he's better at it than Bartra for sure... for that reason, i think it would be a good buy. Of course, getting a proper CB would be best, but Barca don't play that Laughing

This whole Lyon insisting we pay the sell on fee to St Etienne has been going on for long before Lisandro Lopez deal even existed.

I really don't think it has anything to do with it, Aulas is just being a greedy twat i can see why you don't like him now Laughing

Not only that he's been very stupid too, unlikely he will get a better deal than what we were offering we were already overpaying as is.

They wouldn't have started Lopez in every preseason game and the CL games if he wasn't supposed to stay...

Hey im the first to say we need somebody, but there is no point settling on anybody.

Maybe he can do a decent job, but at 30, its a short term solution at best. Plus, I would be quite concerned by him trying to operate the offside trap, not something he is going to be used to all that often.

Gomis is valued higher than Thauvin? lol

CFs are always going to cost a premium over any other position. Just how it is.

I doubt OM sign Gomis anyhow. I think they save their money and keep if for Thauvin for either now or this winter.
