Re: Champions League 2013/2014 discussion
I really like the draw, the only clear winner of any of the groups is chelsea imo.
united, bayern, and barca will be clear favorites but their groups are still somewhat complicated.
then we have 2 horse races in B, C, and G
and of course the group of death which honestly i think any team could be eliminated from, and any 2 teams could qualify.
pretty typical of the draws these days tbh. one team gets a pass, lots of 2 horse races and 1 group of death.

I think Arsenal will go through in the end but saying BVB is the only tough opponent for Arsenal is pathetic disrespect especially when you consider both Arsenal and Napoli are on a similar level with Arsenal being just a bit better than them.

My only disappointment..
Arsenal did not get Olympiakos again

For the first time in years, we have a team with knockout stages rightful claims in UCL, considering the group too.

You might not know much about these players but you soon will do
I wouldn't underestimate Shakhtar at all.

Don't listen to him, other Arsenal fans are confident on their team but acknowledge the strength of the group.S wrote:I think Arsenal will go through in the end but saying BVB is the only tough opponent for Arsenal is pathetic disrespect especially when you consider both Arsenal and Napoli are on a similar level with Arsenal being just a bit better than them.
Not even BVB fans are happy about this group let alone the other teams.

I don't under estimate Shakhtar....they have players like Texeira, Costa, Adriano still plus there new signings, Taison is a good player. plus playing at the Donbass arena is never a easy trip.....I do think it will be between Sociedad and them for 2nd thoGreat Leader Sprucenuce wrote:You realised they signed Bernard, Fernando, Wellington Nem, Taison, Facundo Ferreyra and an Attacking midfielder called Fred?Firenze wrote:Shakhtar sold their best players, not worried about them

Btw, why did BVB have to get a tough group like this, it means more disturbance and hardwork to win BL.

Re: Champions League 2013/2014 discussion
Tbh i like Man Utd's group, i see a group where any two from 4 teams could qualify and i wouldn't be surprised at all.
The rest to me are boring apart from Arsenal's group, you could pick the two who will qualify and be right 99% of the time.
Man Utd's group is very unpredictable IMO.
