Re: Gareth Bale transfer saga
You wonder how the two big clubs in Spain have so much money when the whole country is in such a mess (and going downhill). Surely not by selling Fatzema shirts.
Re: Gareth Bale transfer saga
British media still harping on about Morata being used as makeweight move on yeah
Coentrao would be their only hope if they want a player since he is so desperate to leave. And since they are so desperate for a LB we should use it to our advantage

Only to be given it back free at a later date. Subsidised by EU money that European citizens paid in with their taxes. So much for Financial Fair Play. Madrid are a massive club not only because of their former glory but also because they are propped up by dodgy sources.

perez is a business man he got his fortune for a reason. its the only reason he became our president in the first place. if he wants bale its because it will be rewarding us financially something he knows alot about. The only downside to him is that he doesn't look at the football consequences of it
barca got some dodgy sponsorship deal. I wouldn't be surprised if rossell was to be investigated for money laundry or fraud of some sort. the guy is a scum. As for Laporta well barcas mess can only have one owner
real madrid is nlt the reason the country is in such a mess. in fact its a law abiding club. we have paid all our taxes and reducing debt in the millions. we have something like 200mill in debt now compared to 600mill a couple of years ago. in two or three years we will be debt free. so if I were you I wouldn't worry about real madrid and finances mate

RM is the most morally bankrupt, corrupt club in Europe. Perez is an utter scumbag who does nothing but tarnish RM's already suspect reputation.

Re: Gareth Bale transfer saga
If I was Spurs I'd take the money in a heartbeat. It is a significant sum of money. Not only €100m is too much for a player like him, there is no way Bale is going to outperform his last year and because of that, his price will drop next season. Just imagine, one injury or a run off form could easily halve his price.
Take the money and leave Mr. Levy.

That can't be true? That fee is mind blowing.
I'm gonna lmao when/if he flops for them next season. That fee is gonna weigh him down under all that pressure to perform.

Re: Gareth Bale transfer saga
Apparently there's a verbal agreement for Bale to sign for €120m, according to AS.

Re: Gareth Bale transfer saga
Bale pretty much played as a forward last year.
Soldado, Negredo, Falcao, Cavani, Higuain have better goal records than him.
So why is he worth more than them? Because of the hype that's created from him scoring a few game winning long shots?

Re: Gareth Bale transfer saga
That's completely false. PSG is only looking for a depth CM if they loan out Rabiot... that's it. Other than that, they have 32 players under contract and need to shed 7 of them at least.jibers wrote:sportsczy wrote:Marketing potential and age is driving the price up...

They are forced to run a 442 with Cavani and Ibra. Bale has no spot in that layout given that Ibra is the SS guy.
