Re: Gareth Bale transfer saga
spurs don't train today, but if Bale doesn't show up for training tuesday morning, he faces a fine from the club

Perez is like a rich parent with a spoilt kid. when they want a toy a parent will splash enormous sums of money to get it just because they are loaded

His name doesn't have to be baledinho or bale hernandez to be creative
He creates quite a few chances for tottenham when i see them play..
Not through the middle he doesn't.
He only creates when he's on the wing and crossing it lol. You're going to be disappointed if you want him to be a creative type.
Plus, don't you already have Oezil and Isco for such a role?

Bale will play forward when he comes not R/L-AM so he won't need to create just score

Re: Gareth Bale transfer saga
Spurs owner Joe Lewis and Perez secretly met yesterday in the U.S. yesterday, according to AS.
Perez doesn't want to pay more than what he paid for Ronaldo in cash, which is €96m.
He wants to include Coentrao and Di Maria as part of the deal.
Tottenham however just want money.
Apparently Real Madrid will pay €20m up front and the rest will be paid within 6 years. Tottenham have already made arrangements for the money to be paid into a bank. Which would mean Spurs have all the money straight away.

Re: Gareth Bale transfer saga
What MT is saying is that the Spurs are getting a secured loan from a bank for the portion Madrid will pay in the future... Spurs probably don't get 100% of the total. Between 80-90% is my guess because 100% loans have been mostly wiped out since the financial crisis. They also pay interest on the borrowed amount too obviously.
It's probably a line of credit they draw down on so they only pay interest on the amount drawn.

Re: Gareth Bale transfer saga
Paying it in 20 million euro instalments? I guess it softens the blow quite a bit financially although I'm not entirely crazy about committing to long term payments.

According to AS Bale trained on his own despite AVB giving the rest of the players rest. The guy isn't going to miss tomorrow's training I am sure of it

Bale's picture removed from Spurs official twitter page and replaced by Dembele. They replaced Dempsey when he left as well...

It's happening

Re: Gareth Bale transfer saga
So if Bale scores an optimistic 120 goals in his time at Madrid that means Madrid paid 1m per goal. RM paid 12m for Higgy and he scored 122 goals, which comes out at 100,000 per goal.

Your argument is invalid.

Not every goal has the same value. I will take a match winning champions league knockout goal over a hat trick against a scrub La Liga team.
