I have a coach that sorts the workout for me
Basically we train 2 muscle groups a day for 2 hours, (i.e Biceps and chest today) train 6 days a week with Friday being a rest day. I eat 5 meals a day (sometimes 4) with the most important meal for mw being breakfast. I usually eat 5 Egg whites and 1 banana. Before every meal i take 3 2222 Amino acids pills to help develop my muscles. As i said my most important meal is breakfast because i get the proteins and carbs before the workout. Post workout i drink 1 full cup of nitrotech protei shake and a banana. Thats about 60 g of proteins. My coach could not stress this enough, to get into shape you MUST rely on the food you eat. 70% is food 30% is working out. Do not forget that the protein shake is only a supplement, you actually need to eat the real stuff to see a differwnce.
As i said, 2 muscle groups a day for 2 hours ( triceps and back, legs and shoulders, core and lower legs)
Besides that i tend to do late night Cardio just as an endurance traing for lifting heavier weights.

Your coach combines some odd muscle groups together, but it's clearly working so keep at it, I think the nutrition advice he's given is very good, especially for someone so new. I train 6 days a week too, but I use a 5 days on one day off rotation, personally I think high volume high frequency is the way to go.

If it's similar to what we did for wrestling it isn't about muscle "groups" per say. Chest exercises = a pushing movement
Bicep exercises = a pulling movement
This is typically what we would do in season, as we would use large compound moves and Olympic lifts over the summer to build actual functional strength.
