Yea.

After giving them the 40 million for Modric and proposing the entire mutually beneficial relationship thing, they seem rather inflexible to what we want. They just want to be a parasite club, get the players who we find it difficult to keep for ridiculously cheap prices (Van Der Vaart, now Jese,Coentrao,Higuain) and hold us hostage every time we want someone.

That's pointless, Levy is a brilliant guy, they're lucky to have him. But if I was Flo, I would be done with Tottenham. Let them drain someone else.

Real will give Coentrao to Spurs for a pack of Twinkies if that somehow leads to them getting Bale within the next year. We've had poor transfer luck on some of our main targets, but admit it, Levy is about ready to put Real over a barrel.

but wheres the leverage? madrid wanted bale. tottenham live in a fairy land where they think bale is worth 100m and madrid moved on to isco.

coentrao is under contract and though it seems he wants to leave there is no way in hell madrid sell for the price of 7m when he was bought for 3 times that

It is extremely frustrating Juventus (after player sales) would have the money to go and spend 15-20 mil it would probably take to go and get coentrao or we could try for ansaldi but watch us go and get kolarov for like 6 million. Juventus should just buy coentrao and call it a summer unless we have extra cash lying around and some 1 that is worthy buying becomes available. I would have bought coentrao over ogbonna and bought back either masi or sorenson for barzagli emergency

First of all, you called Juventus' time in the CL a failure because they got knocked out by the WINNERS. I didn't remember other elite teams stopping them either. I guess in Epoto's world unless you win the CL you're a failure.

As for the grinding results part, that's nothing to do with the CL. That was in response to the Napoli comments. And yes Juventus have obviously been grinding out results in the league hence Juventus winning it two years in a row so I have no idea wtf you're even going on about there.

I agree we need to do better, just don't think last season was a failure. If it wasn't Bayern that knocked us out I'd have probably agreed with that too though.

1 season in Serie A and half of it was under Zeman where they conceded more goals than almost any other team. Are these people seriously willing to shell out that much cash on a player who is not elite quality?

This is all fantastic for Roma though, they will get Benatia from Udinese for around 10m or less and have a better CB than Marquinhos IMO + 20-30m of cash to spend on the rest of the squad.

30m for a 19 year old CB who had one solid season in a top league... Ridiculous
