This is all fantastic for Roma though, they will get Benatia from Udinese for around 10m or less and have a better CB than Marquinhos IMO + 20-30m of cash to spend on the rest of the squad.

30m for a 19 year old CB who had one solid season in a top league... Ridiculous

he is Talented and has a high potential and Roma already bought Benatia as his replacement and Jedvaj as future replacement and i expect strootman deal to be finalized by Wednesday+Gervinho from Arsenal is also on the cards

Rosell said they wanted Silva but that PSG had refused to talk. Silva's agent said yesterday that his client would remain at PSG. Unless Silva revolts, which he has no intention of doing, then there's nothing here...

Real will give Coentrao to Spurs for a pack of Twinkies if that somehow leads to them getting Bale within the next year. We've had poor transfer luck on some of our main targets, but admit it, Levy is about ready to put Real over a barrel.

If that 'somehow' way is us dropping an absurd about money then no thanks. Coentrao was bought for 4 times that price and he was actually solid last year. We would have been f*cked if Marcelo was our only LB.

It's typical that crazy numbers get thrown around right when the deal is getting done. I remember that Silva was supposed to have been sold for 55 mil It ended up being 43.

I wouldn't put too much into the numbers being reported. Personally, i doubt it's more than 35. Probably closer to 30.

Since you don't know shat about Ligue 1, let me educate you. PSG wasn't able to clinch the title until the 36th day... later than EPL, La Liga and Serie A. CL spots were decided in the last day.

Talent level is good in the league. Nobody lays down. PSG won the title with 83 points. In comparison, Barca had 100 points, Man U 89 points and Juve 87 points. There is nothing easy about the league.

Yeah I don't expect Lyon and OM to get anywhere near PsG and Monaco after a few seasons of more purchases and stability.

A new stadium is good and all, but any top player that's interested in going to Ligue 1 will probably be courted by the top two first.

Nah. Lyon and OM both spent very big before. They're just building stadiums so they have to be careful. Once they are back to normal operating situations, they'll spend well again. Maybe not to the level of PSG and Monaco... but they will spend like the next tier of teams no problem.

Yeah ok Surag.  PSG were a bigger force in CL than Juve last year . Monaco has to build up their defense and keeping. They are top CL quality everywhere else.
