18:50 - "There are financial details of the transfer of Angelo Ogbonna at Juventus." Li has recently communicated Michele Criscitiello outside Atahotel Executive, during the special market Sportitalia. "13.5 million euro more two bonus, "said the director of Tuttomercatoweb and Sportitalia. So the grenade would be able to snatch 500 thousand € more than the figures circulating in the last hour.

Italian media claim Juventus midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini has accepted a transfer to Sunderland worth €8m (£6.9m).
The versatile figure will put pen to paper on a four-year contract worth €2m per season (£1.7m).
Negotiations have been going on for over a week and Coach Antonio Conte finally agreed to release the player this evening.
According to Sky Sport Italia a deal has been struck with the all-clear from Sunderland, Juventus and Giaccherini himself.
The 28-year-old impressed for Italy at the Confederations Cup last month.
This sale has effectively paid for the arrival of Carlos Tevez from Manchester City for €9m plus bonuses.

We can wrap up the buying part of this market if we sign Jovetic and potentially go after someone like Kolarov. Then, we would just need to concentrate on sales.

Marotta just fkn pay the 30m and wrap up the Jovetic deal ffs....
he acts too cheap, we offered 22m they rejected, now that we have 8m from Giach deal, Marotta and his fans have no excuse....
- Jovetic wants Juve
- 8m + 22m [initial offer] = 30m
- 30 m = Jovetic release clause
ffs....

8M from Giac
15M from Vucinic
8M for Quags (Can't have him, Giovinco and Matri staying. Matri is the only proper substitute for Llorente)
There's 31Million euros.
8 of them have been secured. There is apparantly an offer for Vucinic already for 15M and Quags shouldn't be difficult to move onto a decent side in Italy.
I say we execute the Jojo transfer now, and recoup the money from sales. Which can wait. However, Jovetic won't be around for ever. It's important to get the buying done before the selling.
It's not like in past seasons, the players we're selling aren't on stupid wages and they aren't shit. So there isn't the case of "We might not be able to sell them, and our books will become unbalanced" that there would be if we were relying on the sales of Amauri and Iaquinta.

Giacch's cash will be used towards buying a new WB(Kolarov or Zuniga)/Diamanti or Bonaventura i think.

You could be right. I feel like the Jovetic situation is a staring contest between Juve and Fiorentina to see who blinks first. I think Marotta is under set orders from the board about how to handle that purchase. If it was as simple as needing 30m, the deal would have been done. I think Agnelli wants to call ADV's bluff and see if they will take any cash and players exchanges. I hope we don't screw this one up.

We can't afford to try to call bluffs when Jovetic is such a popular name.
Then again, from their perspective. The Jojo City rumours that have flared up again could just be the typical "we have other suitors" tactic.

Maybe the excuse is that they don't believe Jovetic is worth 30M? I certainly don't

Re: Tonight the signatures between Juve and Torino for Ogbonna, Only the OK from Conte is missing for Giacch sale :(
Am I the only one who thinks Giac's sale's main point was to fund Ogbonna's move to Juve? I'm still skeptic about signing Jovetic since we got Llorente and Tevez.
Anyways, I think it's an awesome move regarding the future, we will definitely need someone to replace Barzagli in the near future, and Ogbonna is probably the best defender out there in Italy we could get.
The only way to wrap up Jovetic if we manage to sell 3! of our strikers. Which is still close to impossible.

Personally I think we had seperate chunks of budget to adress out striker and defender situation, I think that no matter what we were buying a CB
Giac move is hopefully to fund Jojo, but it could be to make room for Diamanti.

Or it could be just to sell a fringe player for a nice sum. It's good business at its simplest

I'm fed up of listening to the boring kolarov and diamanti rumors...
They are not as important as jojo ffs.. We DO NOT NEED DIAMANTI IF WE GOT GIOVINCO. PELUSO AND DE CEGLIE ARE JUST GOOD BACK UPS FOR ASA. The only way to get kola is by selling pdc..

Can anyone else see us not buying jovetic because he is 5-10 million more then what we wanted to pay so then we pay around 10 million for diamanti who will kill serie a but then flop in the champions league and we will lose against a side like barca, utd or bayern and we will complain about not having enough quality on the flanks or behind the strikers? My bet is this EXCACT outcome will occur if we don't get JOJO.

Paying 30M and then expecting Jojo to become a winger would be dumber than playing Diamanti on the wing to be fair and if Juventus lose in the champions league it will surely be a collective effort and not a difference that a 23 year old with a 30M price tag would make. It's a large investment that Juventus doesn't want to make right now, it's not that stupid. We went from crying for a quality striker to signing two and still wanting more, Jovetic would be a luxury signing- nice to have, certainly improves the team, quality player but is he really needed? Does Juventus really need to spend 30M to sure up a position they already greatly strengthened?
It's also difficult to imagine a formation where Jovetic, Tevez and Llorente co-exist. A 4-3-2-1 is possible (or variation), but at the expense of other players in the line up.

The last time we splashed 20+ sums for players ended up bad : Melo , Diego, Amauri

What Luca said is so true. i guess we could get him for cheaper next year. Even look at Man C, did they even make a bid for him?
Yeah, I guess he is overpriced as well, given that he is injury prone as well...

I'm well aware Dejan and looking at those players it is obvious why Juventus wouldn't want to take the same kind of risk. I like the policy of not breaking the bank on one player.
Ogbonna, Tevez, Llorente, Diamanti (perhaps), Kolarov (perhaps)- that's a FANTASTIC mercato from Juventus
Jovetic is fantastic but 30M is a lot (combine the above players and you're just over that probably).
