My analysis.

-Vucinic as a 9 doesnt work, at least not in a 4-3-3. Hes not a small guy, but he gets outmuscled by big CBs, and although he does hold the ball up well, it takes away his best aspect, his dribbling, when he gets crowded out by two CBs and a DM. As soon as he moved to the LW, we saw he was MUCH more dangerous. Thisis where he must play.

-Giovincos better on the RW. On the LW he would cut in and get outmuscled quickly by the RB or CB or both. On the right he can cross or run in towards goal at more of an.angle and shoot.

-Bendtner got into some good positions, but his finishing is pretty bad, even if he wouldve scored 9/10 times with that flick. Hes really not good enough though, and should be sent back to Arsenal.

-We cant judge Matri based on his performance, as he was played on the RW.

-We desperately need a big, strong, clinical CF. Llorente and Drogba both fit that descriptions perfectly, so hopefully we get one or both of them.

-Asamoah played well as a LB, even if did leave some space at the back. This could be easily taught though and he could be converted into an excellent LB in my opinion. It should definitely be given some thought.

-Pogba was excellent, and really deserved a goal. He showed that hes a dirext swap for Vidal or Marchisio, and im not so worried anymore about Marchisio beimg suspended for Shakhtar. Even if Pogbas not on their level yet, hes still an excellent backup.

-Nice to see Marchisio get a brace. It shows that when hes allowed to push forward, hes always a threat. The problem lately is that Vidal always pushes forward, so Marchisio has to hold the midfield (unless the opposition parks the bus like yesterday), hence why Vidal has 10 goals already. Last season, it seemed like the first half of the season Marchisio played the AM role while Vidal was the DM, hence why Marchisio was scoring so much, and then in the second half of the season they switched. I personally think were better off with Marchisio as the AM and Vidal as the DM, but it works either way.

-De Ceglie and Giaccherini are great players who are very underrated. Excellent backups. De Ceglie in particular had a great game, and i really didnt understand his substitution.

-4-3-3 is the way to go. The problem is which CB pairing to go with. Barzagli and Chiellini arei obviously our best defenders, but Bonucci has been pretty much on Barzaglis level this season, and is the best at distributing the ball out of the back. So this is a tough one.

-Overall, it was a good performance, and a well deserved win. It was a red card no doubt, and it was a penalty no doubt. Pirlo doesnt look tired, he looks lazy. He needs to fix this. The first 10 minutes we looked a little shaky, but i think it was down to us using a different formation for the first time in a year, and a little bit of suprise at the way Torino came into the game so attack-minded which is unusual against us. But once we found our feet, even before the red card, we looked the better side, though the red card just put the icing.on the cake. This game very easily couldve ended 5 or 6-0 if not fot some.great keeping from Gillet.
