Re: The Movie House - Part 3
I really enjoyed The Lego Movie. I'm not exactly one for such movies typically, but Lego's are a huge part of my childhood and it looked decent so I couldn't really resist myself. The movie was downright hilarious sometimes, I found it very funny.
Good clean childish humor, and the storyline for a kids movie wasn't bad or anything either, though it was filled with cliches, but you expect that.
I would recommend it to anyone, as the humor should appeal to both young and old. Hell, I think I found it funnier now than I would have if I were 7.

Watched Nebraska yesterday.
It's a very light-hearted and lovely film. I enjoyed it I must say. It's a bit slow (with old people what do you expect lol) so it might not be for everyone (looking at MT). I'd give it a rating of 7.6/10

I love monster movies, hell, I even consider Godzilla 1998 a personal favourite, and that has a bad reputation, this looks insane.

I grew up on them, when my father was in the military the only thing I could get in English was Godzilla movies and comic books. I can't wait for this.

In the actual movie King Kong won, but that was at least in part due to some random electricity-based powers he picked up.
In a real fight... well, it wouldn't be a fight. You have an over-sized gorilla (45 meters tall at it's largest) against an atomic-breath wielding mutant dinosaur (50 meters tall at it's SMALLEST) with a healing factor to rival Wolverine's at some points. Hell, the Jaegers from from Pacific Rim could just about drop kick Kong given they were all 70+ meters tall.

I'm not really big on monsters and all out action, running around, flying around stuff.
Though I hope this (Godzilla) will be good.

I can't help but keep associating Cranston's voice with Heisenberg. I don't think he'll ever be able to do another project where people could ignore Heisenberg in him.

Re: The Movie House - Part 3
Just watched Her in the cinema
my top 3 of the 2013 movies after having seen most of the ones that were in considerations for any awards.
1. The Wolf of Wall Street, best movie of the year for me.
2. Prisoners, loved everything about that movie, and the fact that Jackman and/or Gyllenhaal wasn't nominated an Oscar pains me. The movie was generally snubbed.
3. Her, probably the most beautiful movie in a visual sense I have seen this year, or maybe of all time. This movie was amazing on so many levels.
And also if anyone could explain to me why American Hustle gets so much hype, despite being an awfully mediocre movie, that would be much appreciated.

I was never in the darkness
I seriously need an answer
out of 20 people I know that have seen the movie, none of them loved it. And the best thing about that movie is Bradley Cooper, I don't care for anything else in it.
Having some friends over tomorrow to watch it, Spike Jonze to win best screenplay pls.
Really would love if Her or Wolf won best picture, but 12 years a slave is also an amazing picture. Pulling for McConaughey or Leo, Blanchett, Lupita and Fassbender in the other acting categories.
