Duscae just has way too much to do. I don't think I'll complete all this before finishing the chapter. Really like the region though, Lestallum looks gorgeous, the disc, the slough, the deadeye hunt, the chocobo tracks, everything.

the daemons? imagine I can smash them now but I never tried

since I've gotten the chocobo's Gladiolus skill rarely increases since you need to run around on foot with him ffs

I hope there are meals that can boost skill gain for trophies since I can see myself needing them for fishing..it goes up so slowly

One of the demons that comes out at night along with few bombs lmao. Wrecked the entire party in one move last time .

I am pretty sure there are materials for boosts.

There is one secret dungeon which apparently is the best. I am guessing the optional boss is there too. But that might be late on.

I haven't had the chance to smash it properly. I am just glad it has the old FF feeling to it early on.

I just did a lvl 38 hunt which doubled as a side quest

monster took me 15 mins to defeat and I spent 70% of my healing items acquired throughout the game on it

was the size of a skyscraper ffs, no way was it only lvl 38

about 40%

got 80K ffs, easily replenish them

just got the gold trophy for unlocking 50 ascension tree nodes ffs

tomorrow I will move on with the story since most of the side quests I have now are behind blockades I can't get past

I gained like 6 lvls by saving all my XP and using the 2x XP hotel at Golden Quay lol

I'm at chapter 5 now, like level 29 I think. Btw the chapters are very uneven in length. As soon as you get started on those chapter 3 quests the story picks up and it gets really interesting. Much more varied than just driving around with the bros.

The thing is that now that I have cool story progression, I still want to dick around and do more hunts and sidequests. The game is great.

Also the getting the first summon part is just unreal. Visually that part is amazing. Got 2 summons now.

Watched Kingsglaive. Went in expecting it to be terrible like the first Advent Children, with just cool cgi and a shit plot. Hugely surprised though. This movie should come with the game, it makes it that much better. Definitely worth watching and very entertaining. I can imagine that people watching this as a stand alone movie may not like it, but in the context of the game, its great.

I would say play finish chapter 1 and then watch the movie before starting 2.

Wish we could trade some of these jobbers in our party for Nyx, Cor and Luna. But then I guess Noctis would look like a bitch Laughing
