Coeurls can kill you with damage (and they do a shit ton of damage) but they also can inflict Death (insta kill). Its what they are famous for in FF.

Usually depends on the flan, not sure how it works here. Use Libra (wait mode) and it will tell you, or just try any magic. Flans should be easy cause you block and blindside pretty easily.

Re: The Official Final Fantasy thread
I have a problem with progression in RPG's ffs, I get obsessed with making sure I do all the sidequests before I move onto main quest, I'm still doing them even though most are meh. Lvl 38 and barely started the 3rd chapter, I'm gonna be really OP for the main quest at this rate
once I hit the trophy for 80 sidequests I'll probably just focus on the main quest though or at least skip the generic side quests

Re: The Official Final Fantasy thread
That's why they make the final third of FF games as linear as possible lol.

Why don't just balance it out between main quests and side quests lol. That's what i do so the game continues to feel fresh.

Nah I am the same as Firenze so I can relate. Unless the area is 100% done, I can't move to main quest.

Its the opposite. Every FF game starts linear and then the final third/fourth you get the airship and its open world. This first time that they flip it.

Get going with the story and you'll get a really strong monster that maybe you can beat. I had to escape and bypass it.

Re: The Official Final Fantasy thread
Duscae just has way too much to do. I don't think I'll complete all this before finishing the chapter. Really like the region though, Lestallum looks gorgeous, the disc, the slough, the deadeye hunt, the chocobo tracks, everything.
