Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
The outcome of imminent contract talks with Paris Saint-Germain executives will determine the future of Italian midfielder Marco Verratti.
The main topic of discussion will be an improvement of his current contract, and after a stellar season a stumbling block could occur. If such is the case, potential suitors in the form of Real Madrid and Monaco will be waiting to make the most of the situation.
Sky Sport Italia have highlighted the importance of the meeting, as any kind of difficulty would mean Real Madrid’s interest would certainly increase, especially with Carlo Ancelotti’s impending arrival at the Bernabeu and his desire to carry on tutoring the 20-year-old as he did at PSG.
Los Merengues will have to be wary of a potential move from Ligue 1 side Monaco, who are also said to be interested. The French club’s involvement however, is dependent on the success of their current bid for Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio.

Roma are allegedly assessing the possibility of signing Paris Saint-Germain’s Javier Pastore.
The Argentinian attacking midfielder said in April that he would definitely not return to Italy after joining the current French champions from Palermo in 2011.
However, Il Tempo reports that the Giallorossi’s sporting director Walter Sabatini was recently among the first to be told that the Pastore, in actual fact, wishes to play for another Italian club.
Sabatini, when working at Palermo, brought ‘El Flaco’ to Italy in 2009, and attempted to buy him two years ago, but PSG’s asking price of €43 million was too high.
Roma are not the only Italian side with interest in Pastore. Milan reportedly view him as a possible alternative to signing Carlos Tevez, and Pastore has previously spoken of his admiration for the Rossoneri.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
A switch to Monaco has emerged as a possible option for Benfica midfielder Nemanja Matic after officials from the French club visited Portugal for discussions with the Lisbon side’s president Luis Felipe Vieira.
According to Portuguese daily Correio da Manha, Monaco have made Benfica aware of the fact that they would like to sign the Serbian this summer.

Italian agent Mateo Materazzi can see AC Milan selling Stephan El Shaarawy.
Should Carlos Tevez arrive from Manchester City, Materazzi expects El Shaarawy to move on.
"The sale is likely, since Mario Balotelli arrived he no longer has scored. If there is an opportunity to cash in for really big numbers, I certainly think that Milan would consider the possible sale," Materazzi told TMW.

BTW, it looks as if Robert Lewandowski will indeed stay at Borussia Dortmund for 2013/14. Aki Watzke wants planning reliability for the next season, so he decided to rule out a move abroad for Lewandowski, too. Supposedly Chelsea made an offer with pretty high wages, but Lewandowski seems to be determined to go to Bayern München, and Bayern assured him they would plan with him even in the following season, so there is no need to rush for a Summer exit this year.

Actually, derwesten.de talks of an additional ManCity + ManUtd offer. My source was a certain other tabloid that should not be named which I happened to spy on when I got my coffee (so I could only paraphrase).
WAZ obviously quotes The Sun with the ManCity offer for Lewandowski which is believed to be in the range of 12 mio Euros per year Additionally, ManUtd is supposed to be interested, too.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
Yep they're quoting "The Sun" on that one, which is possibly the worst source ever lol
But WAZ according to their information weeks ago mentioned that Chelsea are interested and Kucharski (Lewandowski's agent) went to London to discuss a deal but the player clearly doesn't want to leave Germany.
Kucharski mentioned the player thinks he can the become the star player in Buyern's attack AND get similar money to what he would get at Man City, Real Madrid or Barcelona but wouldn't have the star element at those clubs.

Dutch media say Ajax are closing on Adam Maher. Which means Eriksen is closer than ever to BVB because Ajax can't afford to pay what AZ Alkmaar as asking for Maher unless they sell Eriksen or Alderweireld.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
Okay. Liverpool seem to be trying to get Mignolet, Luis Alberto, Aspas and Ilori by the end of next week latest.
We also want to get Mkhitaryan but we're waiting for Carroll to be sold first.
That would mean Reina is off to Barcelona... but I have a feeling he'll go to Monaco. 0.o
Which would mean:
Reina replaced with Mignolet
Coates replaced with Ilori
Assaidi replaced with Luis Alberto
Carroll replaced with Mkhitaryan
Aspas signed for depth?
No Eriksen

According to LEquipe and LeParisien, AVB is now a priority for PSG who are hard pressed to find a manager and negotiations are progressing well.
