Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
Illarramendi has a release clause of 30 millions euros like most Sociedad players. And yes, Real Madrid are keeping tab on him as it's been reported many times during the year by ElConfidencial that he was in a short list of players that Madrid are scouting.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
Illara isn't the overly expensive one simply because Sociedad haven't put the proper clause in him since he wasn't touted to be their big talent or even close to it. He may have been beyond excellent this season for La Real and now U-21 Espana but it is Pardo who is highly valued and kept by La Real instead of Illara who was a revelation this year.

According to Izvestia, Arsenal are observing the player of Anzhi, Odil Ahmedov. Gunners are working in order to make an offer about 4 million euros. The agreement can arrive soon with the Russian club.

Barcelona are preparing a late move for Borussia Dortmund striker Roberto Lewandowski, according to reports in Spain.
Intereconomia TV claim that Barca are ready to make a move for Lewandowski, perhaps using youngster Gerard Deulofeu in a part-exchange deal.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
Two stories in the Metro.
Odil Ahmedov (mostly a DM) - Metro
Lorenzo Melgarejo (versatile left-sided player) - Metro
I seem to remember hearing a few reports about Ahmedov & Arsenal in the past, so I can buy the idea that scouts are looking at him regularly. (Anyone seen him play?) However, if the club are only willing to bid £4m for this guy he can't be really high priority.
(EDIT: Apologies - I actually meant to post in the Arsenal transfers thread, but if nobody minds I guess they can stay here too.)

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is sticking to his demand that Chelsea meet Edinson Cavani’s release clause of €63m in order for him to depart the San Paalo.
According to Sky Italia, De Laurentiis is not at present keen to accept a penny less for the Uruguayan striker and this has led to no movement on a deal in the last few days.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
Meanwhile, Catalan newspaper El Mundo Depotivo has published the names of 14 Barcelona players who could be on their way out of the club this summer either by being sold or going out on loan. Not all will go while the list in notable for which players are on the list as well as those who aren’t.
Victor Valdes is perhaps the most surprising after stating recently that he is willing to stay at the club until his contract expires in 2014 while Alexis Sanchez is perhaps the biggest name on the list. The paper claims that a bid of 20-25million euro ($27-33million; £17-21million) would be considered by the club for the Chile international.
The Alcantara brothers, Thiago and Rafinha are also included, Thiago because of a temporarily low release clause of 18million euro ($24million; £15million), Rafinha as a candidate for a loan move. Central defender Marc Bartra has had offers from the Premier League and faces being sixth-choice centre-back if a new player is recruited. He will decide his future after the Uefa Under-21 Championships. Jonathan dos Santos was the subjects of bids last summer from Everton and Sevilla and the club will hope for more bids this summer. It will also hope the Mexican will accept one of them and leave. Andreu Fontas spent the season on loan at Mallorca and could even have his contract cancelled so he can move on a free transfer. PSV Eindhoven are keen.
Ibrahim Afellay has been on loan at Schalke but his spell ended early and with still two years left at Barca he could find his contract cancelled or he could go back out on loan. Bojan Krkic is back at Barca after two years in Italy, first with Roma then with Milan. Roma paid 12million euro in 2011 but passed him on to Milan when they decided he would never be worth the additional 28million they would have to pay this summer under the terms of that 2011 transfer. Milan have offered 5million to make the deal permanent but the bid has been rejected while Hamburg are now said to be keen. Barca are hoping for bids from England.
David Villa looks set to leave once Spain’s involvement in the Confederations Cup is over, which could be the end of this month. English clubs Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool are all said to be keen but Barca will demand 14million euro ($19million; £12million) which could dampen the trio’s enthusiasm. Isaac Cuenca is out of action for the first half of next season and could go out on loan in January; Cristian Tello will wait until later in the summer before deciding his future. Liverpool are interested but he could instead go out on loan as could Gerard Deolofeu. Spurs are keen while the 19-year-old has been linked with a loan as part of a deal for Real Sociedad defender Inigo Martinez. Keeper Oier Olazabal has already said goodbye to his team-mates in the B team ahead of either a loan move or a transfer.
The biggest omission: Cesc Fabregas, speculated upon in the English press as a target for Manchester United and Arsenal, but the player himself insisted yesterday that he was staying at Barca.
Chelsea striker Fernando Torres is an unusual player to be linked with Barcelona having had a torrid time at Stamford Bridge since he arrived from Liverpool two-and-a-half years ago, but speculation claims he could be a target for the La Liga champions as they seek to rid themselves of what is being described as Messidependencia – a reliance on Lionel Messi.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
Would mind if JDS goes on loan/sold to Everton or Sevilla. Fontas to PSV would be a dream move
Afellay won't stay at Barca and will head off loan/sold to most likely England. Shame really... If he didn't get injured alot of the time he have a higher price tag on him...
Torres Its a funny rumour though

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
With Medhi Benatia poised to be the first signing under new boss Rudi Garcia and Radja Nainggolan thought to be the 2nd (possibly within the next week), Roma are now turning their attention to Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue (considered an easier target than Newcastle man Yohan Cabaye) and Corinthians' Paulinho. - Leggo
There's also talks of reinforcements at full-back with Garcia's former charge at Lille, Lucas Digne mooted as a possible choice at LB (il Romanista) and now a return to attention for Eintracht Frankfurt's Sebastian Jung (Leggo's Francesco Balzani). Chelsea-owned Brazilian full-back Wallace is also an option on Roma's wishlist and one that actually might be attainable, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
Russian paper Izvestia reporting that Sabatini apparently has been speaking with Fabio Capello, who has recommended 22-year old Russian attacker Alexander Kokorin of Dinamo Moscow to Roma. The youngster has scored 10 times in 22 games and is rated about about 8m by the club.
It appears that Rafael might be getting cold feet as both bids from Inter and Roma have been rejected for the young Santos keeper. - The Messenger.
