According to abc.es, Malaga has reached an agreement with Malaga over Isco, 25 millions + players (Callejon and a cantera). Isco has also agreed to the move.

Valencia are weighing up a loan move for Barcelona hotshot Gerard Deulofeu, according to Spanish newspaper Superdeporte.

Benfica striker Oscar Cardozo could be the subject of a summer bid from Napoli, reports Portuguese newspaper Correio de Manha.

The Paraguayan was on the verge of completing a €12 million move to Fenerbahce, but it appears Napoli are looking to hijack the deal.

Correio da Manha understands that Benfica have raised their asking price to €15 million, but that is well within Napoli’s price range.

Gonalons' agent on Napoli:

“It’s true, Napoli among other clubs called me,” confirmed the agent of Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons.

Representative Frederic Guerra spoke to Le Parisien newspaper this weekend.

“It’s true, Napoli among other clubs called me, but I cannot tell you at this moment whether the player is interested in a move.

“That is only because we haven’t discussed it yet. We will talk things over when he returns from his summer vacation.”

Napoli have turned their attention to Paraguayan striker Lucas Barrios as the club look for reinforcements ahead of next season’s Champions League campaign.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker has been offered to the San Paolo outfit by his current club Guanghzou Evergrande of the Chinese Super League.

According to Brazilian newspaper O Estado, the transfer of the player is possible, but Barrios is holding out for a move to Brazil or back to Argentina.

Napoli midfielder Valon Behrami has admitted that there was contact with Serie A giants Inter regarding a move to San Siro.

Speaking to Swiss newspaper Telegraph, Behrami said, “I have a contract with Napoli and I intend to stay and play in Champions League next season for the club.”

On the link with Inter, the midfielder had this to say,

“Yes, yes, we have had contact.” He continued.

Apparently it says Morata or Callejon, however because Morata is having a good Euros, he won't go. So it could be any player from the first team or Castilla.

Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim today that Manchester City are now in pole position to secure Cavani and have offered Napoli two options:

1. Edin Dzeko + 40 million euros for Cavani.

2. A straight 55 million euro cash offer.

Gazzetta seem certain that Manchester City are now ahead of Chelsea in the race for Cavani but suggest Real Madrid still have a trump card in their negotiations: Gonzalo Higuain.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly set up a meeting with Lazio to discuss a potential transfer of star player Hernanes.

And with his contract due to expire in June 2015, Ligue 1 champions PSG have called Lazio to arrange a meeting with club director Igli Tare next week, according to Mercato365.

The big-spending Parisians will have to pay up for Hernanes though as he has a price-tag of €30 million, but an official proposal could be on the table within a few days.

Suarez is begging so hard for Madrid to try and buy him that it's getting embarrassing  Thing is, Madrid have shown absolutely zero interest in him so far.  Zidane is not the type of guy who likes players with character issues...  Flo would have to really want Suarez and it doesn't seem that way.

Nasri is meh and Navas provides more width so if he isn't getting sold i would bench him all day long.

Silva can do everything Nasri and more anyways.

Illaramendi would cost 35 mil (his release clause), which is crazy... Sociedad are more friendly towards Barca than us.

We should start by buying Kondogbia for €6 mil (his release clause) and then go from there. At that price, it's such a no brainer.

Kondogbia isn't the new Alonso though and thats what we need. The reason for our patheticness this season was partly because he had declined with age.

I know Sociedad don't like to get bullied into selling their players but I am sure we have a player they might be in need of. In fact with a summer clearance of Castilla I think they might find a player of their need. 25 plus a player and wrap up the deal and run

We don't really need a new Alonso if a CM like Modric or Gundogan will be starting. We just need a DM. However if that DM had good passing skills it would be a bonus.

Someone like Matic can do both.

Actually no...  Carlo plays all his schemes with a superactive DM (Gattuso, Essien, Ramires, Matuidi).  All these players have been critical to make things work for him.  We don't have that at Madrid.

Khedira cannot play this role because he doesn't have the athleticism to cover that much ground.  We need to replace him first for Carlo.  Alonso's replacement... that's another story.  I don't think that's a rush because we also have Modric. We can wait a year when Gundogan becomes available.

Having a great athletic DM also allows you to play Modric with him without worrying.

with our brand of football we need both players in the pivot to know how to pass a damn ball and get out of trouble.

Did those teams consist of a front line who hardly if ever help out in defence?? and is he used to teams parking the bus?? the answer is most possibly no. We need both the DM/DLP and CM to be able to create and switch flanks in an instance. Modric seems like the perfect CM for us, defends a little bit and gets out of trouble with great passing. definitely an upgrade to Khedira. And the only one close to what Alonso does for us is Illaramendi and possibly Veratti. I like the former because I have watched him more and know how he plays
