Lmfao no way in Hell Napoli would bid £40M for Higgy, Cavani or not.
A 30M offer would blow away the competition

Chelsea have been overhyped and wanked over since the beginning of last season, for reasons unknown.

urbaNRoots wrote:ASSE fans saying club will consider €8mio+ offers. It might be too much for a 18 year old but I think it'll be worth it considering the potential he shows already as a starter for an EL team. All our young CB's in the academy are either too young or not good enough to be 3rd choice but Zouma in one year could be that guy. 8 million euros plus 1 year loan is a good deal for ASSE.
CAUTION:Long Post ahead!
Surprising Zouma has managed to generate so much excitement while rumors regarding Tin Jedvaj has gone virtually unnoticed. But that's because he hasn't been in the news at all unlike Zouma who has been touted to be the next big defender emerging from France. This can be well seen by the fact that Zouma has umpteen videos about him in YT while Jedvaj has only one worthwhile video.
But we all know that ASSE will not sell him that easily and even if they do it'll be for huge money(€8mio+ as quoted above). So I hope we do focus on Jedvaj who can be probably signed for 6mio at most.
I feel the one factor that'll work against Jed would be his apparent lack of experience. He started playing for Zagreb's senior team only this year where he managed to notch up an impressive 13 starts and managed to score a goal. That said Zouma could only manage 18 starts himself and managed to score 2.But the fact he started playing in the senior team for ASSE a season before Jed adds upto his experience.
Further,Jed has managed to play only 9 games for his nation's under-age teams(8 for U-17 and 1 for U-19) while Zouma has managed to play 26 games for France's under-age teams(6 for U-16,17 for U-17,1 for U-19 and 2 for U-20) and scored a goal for in the U-17 level as well. And he has played in the 2011 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship and 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
So,on paper Zouma seems to be the perfect signing as we're looking at these two as the back-up CB for the first team and we all know AW has a thing for Frenchies.
So,what makes Jed special enough to be compared to Zouma?
Jedvaj has been described as the 'most talented player to emerge from the country since Luka Modric'.
Jedvaj had been due to sign for Italian club Roma from Dinamo Zagreb prior to the Gunners registering their interest, with the transfer now in limbo.
His agent, Zoran Ban, has been talking in the past few hours about developments, admitting he does not know what the future holds for his player.
Speaking to Italian radio station Radio Mana Mana, he said:
"He is 17 years old, but he plays like 25. He has great quality, is strong physically and mentally. has a secure future.
"Until yesterday he was a step away from signing with Rome, then I do not know what happened with the president of Dinamo.
"It is on the basis of 5 million euro. Roma have made this offer, you should request the President of Dinamo asked how much money more (he wants). The boy is interested in coming to Rome. And they (are) first team that is interested, then came Milan and Arsenal."
Arsenal's proposed £6 million bid would blow Roma's offer out of the water, so it is little wonder Dinamo Zagreb are having second thoughts. AC Milan are seemingly another club in the hunt who are complicating matters.
Jedvaj talent level is immense considering his tender age. He is a product of the famous Dinamo Zagreb academy (originally from NK Zagreb). Tin Jedvaj has everything in his armor to make him a great premier league defender. He is fast, has great tackles and good vertical leap to win aerial battles. He is a ball carrying central defender who is versatile enough to play as a right back and defensive midfielder. He is just one of those players who radiates class every time he touches the ball.
The 17-year-old has trained with the national side despite his lack of appearances for the national youth squads, as he has only earned one cap for the under-19 Croatian side.
Jedvaj is likely to make his competitive debut for the national side after his country's poor performance in qualification, including a loss to Scotland last time out, and is likely to be called up.
Just to put things into perspective,I've posted videos of both the defenders in here:
First up,Kurt Zouma:
Now for Tin Jedvaj:
P.S.For fellow gooners who are confused about the purpose of the post,I just wanted to let everyone know that Jed is an equally exciting prospect and we gooners should be happy if we sign Jed instead of Zouma.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
You know, it's ironic that Arsene Wenger is indirectly responsible for the delay in Higuain's transfer.
Real Madrid want Ancelotti to complete the deal, PSG want a replacement for Ancelotti but managers are nervous that signing for PSG wouldn't mean anything more than a year's work since they know PSG are gonna go hard to try and sign Wenger next summer.

Podolski plays the same way as Cazorla.
Really I never saw Podolski standing next to Theo on the right and when there is no left wing then there is nobody for Gibbs to overlap so he ends up staying a little deeper.
