Think about it, he gets around 3m a year at Arsenal, if we can get anything around 5-7m we should sell him.
He belongs in France, remember when he was best player in France?Shocked was he?Shocked

Apparently there is a Gervinho-Ayew swap being talked about.hmm
--------------------------------------------------------
BTW,Benitez is said to be seriously interested in signing Verminator.I was thinking as to what to be the par amount if he was to leave Emirates...?
--------------------------------------------------------
Manchester United have reportedly have told Arsenal to stump up £8.5m for Nani or forget about signing him in the summer transfer window.
--------------------------------------------------------
Italian side Parma have come out and set their price for reported Arsenal target,French striker Ishak Belfodil, as President Tommaso Ghirardi wants 11 million euros for his star.

--------------------------------------------------------
Montpellier president Louis Nicollin about the price of Arsenal target Belhanda:"We'd need to get €15 million, but I'd settle for 14 or 12," the colourful millionaire said, revealing he had received offers for the highly-rated midfielder. "From France, no, but from England, Germany and the United Arab Emirates, yes.
--------------------------------------------------------
Apparently there are reports in a few Arsenal blogs that Arsenal will the sign the brother of Julio Plezeguelo,Xavi Plezeguelo, who is a midfielder next year, after Barcelona released him this season and has joined Espanyol.

Arsenal goalkeeper Vito Mannone is wanted by Cagliari, according to reports in Italy.

The Italian has made just 15 Premier League appearances during eight years at the Emirates, and is thought unlikely to challenge Wojciech Szczesny or Lukasz Fabianski for the No.1 jersey next season.

And Calciomercato.it claim Cagliari are willing to offer the Italian an escape route from north London.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bendtner will reportedly be allowed by Arsenal to leave for just £3 million with the Gunners desperate to get the high wage earner off their books. The striker had said earlier in the week that 5-6 clubs are chasing his signature, and the Evening Standard reports that amongst them are Borussia Monchengladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt and Besiktas.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal are ready to hijack Barcelona’s move for Chelsea striker Fernando Torres.

The La Liga champions had lined up a £17 million bid for the Blues frontman – who scored 22 goals in all competitions last season.

But SportsDirect News has learned the Gunners are ready to rival their Catalan counterparts and make an offer of their own.

Emirates boss Arsene Wenger is a huge admirer of the 29-year-old, and believes he could help him recapture the form that made him one of the most feared strikers in the world at Liverpool.

The Frenchman is in the market for a marquee forward, with Manchester United star Wayne Rooney, Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Higuain and Fiorentina hitman Stevan Jovetic all on his shortlist.

Video of our reported target,Melgarejo

Apparently,if he signs for Arsenal,it is not to play as a left back but to play as a LW,{where we played for his former club in Paraguay and also for Pacos in the Portuguese League(10 goals in 29 apps)} and provide competition for Poldi.

This reported link-up I presume has been fully done by his agent, some Appleyard. There have been no other reports barring this Appleyard saying Arsenal are interested.

David Maddock in the Mirror has the story today that Fellaini wants a move to London, but that Wenger is unconvinced that £23m for Fellaini represents good value, and so far has not been prepared to commit to a bid that will trigger his release clause.

That has caused some bemusement at Everton that Arsenal think that can undercut that release clause and attempt to get Fellaini for less than the stated £23m. But that is not going to happen, especially as Man United and Chelsea are also very interested in the midfielder.

We'll probably end up with Imbula,I guess.

Arsenal manager Wenger has been monitoring the Guingamp midfielder for months and Imbula is also keen on a move to the Premier League.

The 20-year-old has also been watched by Arsenal scouts, with Guingamp likely to want around £8million to part with him this summer.

Imbula was born in Belgium to Congolese parents but moved to France at a young age and has a French passport.

He is a powerful defensive midfielder – a position the Gunners want to strengthen – and helped Guingamp gain promotion to the French first division last season.

And maybe the 'new Fellaini':Bernard Malanda-Adje,the Belgian youngster who plays as a DM for SV Zulte-Waregem in the Jupiler Pro League and finished second this season.SportsDirect is linking Arsenal with BMA.

Arsenal may be forced to end their pursuit of Ashley Williams unless they improve their approach for the player.

Despite claims by tabloids at the end of last month that the Gunners were on the verge of agreeing terms for the transfer of the player, Swansea City’s centre back is now set to remain with the Welsh club after a breakdown in negotiations to sell him.

Williams’ representatives were reportedly contacted by Arsenal recently for the first time since the Gunners last failed in their attempt to lure the defender to London during the January transfer window.

But even though the 28-year-old has made it clear that he would prefer a switch to the Emirates stadium, Swansea City football club have now declined an £8.3 million proposal from Arsenal.

The Swans have also made it clear that they will only consider a bid above £10 million while manager Michael Laudrup has reiterated that Ashley Williams is happy at the club.

cheers
Yeah,we're gonna get a better defender.

If AW is iffy about paying Fellaini's release clause despite him being worth it,I seriously doubt whether he'll spend 10mio for someone who is gonna be signed for rotation/back-up.

Arsenal target Kevin Strootman will decide about his future only after the Euro U21 Championships according to his agent Chiel Dekker.

Le10 Sport revealed today that Arsenal are well positioned to sign summer target Clement Grenier from Lyon. The French international has been in talks for months with regards to a new contact with the French club but in recent weeks talks have come to a halt.

It has been claimed the midfielder has a desire to play elsewhere because talks on extending his contract beyond 2014 have failed to materialise into anything concrete. The player is currently on 80,000 Euros a month with Lyon and he is looking for this to be increased to 240,000. Lyon have dug their heels in with this and are only prepared to offer Grenier between 160,000 and 180,000 a month. It has been reported that as a result there have now been no negotiations for several weeks involving the player and the club’s hierarchy.

Due to the issues with Grenier’s extension it's widely thought in France that Arsenal are now in a commanding position to sign him in the summer. Lyon know he has only a year left on his contract and if he doesn’t commit to the club then they may have to cut their losses and sell the player on for a cut price fee. Le 10 Sport say in their edition this week that Arsenal have been showing concrete interest to sign Grenier but as yet a formal bid hasn’t come in from the Premier League club.

Grenier's agent,Frederic Guerra told RMC

“Things are going the way that Clement is perhaps going to stay, but the reverse is possible too. There’s nothing definite, there are still meetings to be held. A career choice is not something to be left to chance. Are you really going to earn a year in your career by leaving straightaway? It’s really a major headache.”

I wasn't aware that Cazorla drifted to the right wing either? scratch

I thought the issue was, if anything, that when played nominally on the left he still moved in to the center. Either way, if there's one Arsenal midfielder I'd give freedom to move wherever he wants, it's Cazorla.

If City continue like this, we have no chance at wining anything next year.

I was watching few clips of Patrick Vieira in his prime. And that game vs  Spain in the world cup where he just bullied his way into scoring from the set piece. Another clip of him  scoring against LFC in the counter.

This is why I want Fellaini. I think he can have close to similar impact for us. Atleast more so than Bender. I miss the early 2000s arsenal style of play. I want us to be that team again.
