Fawlty Towers
After David Tennant left Dr Who, i was a bit of a dick and didn't give Matt Smith a chance. I've now gone back and started where i left off and, i have to say, i've been pleasantly surprised by Smith

If you dont like mainstream, then why are you watching mainstream football?
Why not watch the show if it is really good?

just because a show is mainstream doesn't mean it good....

Re: The TV Series Thread
That was the point i was gettin into. I misinterpreted the way you used 'mainstream', as if you avoided everything which were mainstream as if they were supposed to be bad. So, it could be that you have watched all shows on the mainstream and you want to check out others.Legend wrote:goonbrain wrote:Legend wrote:Amar wrote:Legend wrote:someone recommend me a good British comedy...not any mainstream ones

Re: The TV Series Thread
Just watched season final episode for Person of Interest
Highly recommended watching this goat show!
It's made by the creator of LOST J. J. Abrams & Christopher Nolan's brother Jonathan Nolan who also co wrote The Prestige & TDK with his brother
Main characters in the series:
Jim Caviezel & Michael Emerson

About to start Jericho, I've feel like the Walking Dead has left a huge vacancy in my life, so I'm trying post-apocalyptic shows. Anyone here seen Jericho, how good is it?

Re: The TV Series Thread
I forgot who I was talking to about it, but seriously...
Legend of Korra is GOAT. Avatar the Last Airbender (not the movielol) was GOAT.
Ok, maybe not goat, but they're both ridiculously good shows- whether or not you think it is a 'kids' show or whatever. I don't even watch TV that much, but I make sure I never miss LoK.
New episode in an hour

Avatar and Korra are the only good show that Nickelodeon has made in a while

Can honestly say I don't/didn't like either of the Avatar shows. Just not my style, I guess.

Does anyone here watch Pretty Little Liars?
It sounds awful...but one of my friends made a Veronica Mars comparison....I need a male to confirm this.

I used to watch 'Dead like me " and liked it a lot then they made a movie and stopped it , other than that there is nothing , well its was the mentalist that got my attention but lost interest duo to similarity of episodes .

I'm looking forward to the new season of Doctor Who. I'm a completely obsessed nerd when it comes to this show. The only other current show I watch is Mad Men, which just ended its season. The rest is just a vast wasteland to me. My television viewing is mostly sports and movies.

First episode of Season 2 was appropriately epic. The whole scene gets shaken up. Tis fantastic stuff.

I haven't seen a firm date on it yet. I did read where they had scheduled a screening in the latter part of August, so I would guess we're looking at September.
