lmao wtf
Tbf there's nothing wrong with that, Ben Arfa said similar a few months back.
Difference is Arsenal probably will show ambition, we won't
That quote is taken out of context though.
Nothing wrong with a player showing ambition, don't know what's so funny about this.
As long as a player gives 100% to the team, I won't give a rat's ass about his intentions.

Nerman has been confirmed to have cost 57 mil by Josep Maria Bartomeu, VP of Barca: "The total cost of the transaction was 57 million spread across several parties: DIS, Teisa and Santos. Initially, the club thought the cost would be around 40 million and put 10 million in escrow. But the interference of other clubs caused the price to rise."

When they were talking about the 100 mil, it was wages included. I said the transfer fee was 50 mil according to media in Europe that were typically fairly reliable.. they weren't far off at all. I can dig it up if you want.

He's in a CL club, he's not some sort of world class CB. He has a cheek to imply that Arsenal aren't ambitious enough for him.
If a club like Bayern are after you then he's well within his rights to question whether Arsenal can go to the next level.
I'd personally rather a player talk about ambition and going places than someone who sits on his laurels and doesn't have the ambition to want to improve.
Which is why when Ben Arfa said similar a few months back i was happy about it, don't want players that are not ambitious and settle for mediocrity.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
Yeah but Ben Arfa is technically miles above the rest of his team.
Kos hasn't been that good until fairly recently. Ambition is good, having the desire to win is vital. But for somebody who has only just hit decent form, it's wrong for him to be calling out the club.
We're not talking about top scorer in the country RVP, or a prime Vidic here, he's just got a bit of a cheek to think he's above the club after a good showing in the past 3 months.

I'm laughing over the fact that how this has become such a routine for Arsenal.. I mean, a guy, who has had one decent season out of three, wants to leave the club because of the lack of ambition shown by the club
Arsenal really need to break their bank this season

same goes for Suarez, he has been miles above the rest of his teammates and a player of his quality deserves to be playing in CL, so even if he goes, I would have no regrets.. can you say the same about Koscielny? I don't think so.. he's portraying himself as if without him Arsenal wouldn't have finished in top 4
never rated/liked the guy, now he's taken a step further lol

He was great last season.... can't remember the first season so well but he was great last season and this season didn't play much because Wenger stupidly kept picking Vermealen.
And since Feb has been one of the key reasons for Arsenal's up turn in form and results.
But yeah they need to stop selling key players every year.

Koscielny was injured to start the season and Wenger made Vermaelen captain. With Mertesacker playing well, Wenger decided to stay with Verm because he was the new captain Cost Arsenal a lot of points tbh.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
Diego would be too expensive to keep with his wages. Simeone wanted him to stay but they needed to return him because they wouldn't be able to pay their debt with Diego+Falcao in the same team
they had to sell Dominguez as well who would have been the future replacement for Gabi because he would generate alot of cash from his sale
I just hope they could get Negrito/Soldado to replace Falcao. they would save alot of cash that way and improve the quality

Higuain : A transfer to Arsenal ? It would suit me.
So basically he is keeping his options open which means i wont read too much into his recent comments about Juve.

Bayern Munich also interested in Bruma, according to Correio de Manha. They'd offer around 10m Euros.

He was our best defender last season, and this season too.
I won't blame him for leaving if we end up buying Kone and Nzonzi. He just said what the fans have been saying.
If Bayern and Barca come for him then it will be difficult to hold on

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.III
Leandro Damiao ready to leave Internacional, according to his agent:
"With the improvement he has been showing I think he is mature enough to leave, he is ready to play in Europe," Prates told Zero Hora.
"If it was just a matter of money, he would have left a long time ago. Leandro Damiao's dream is to play the World Cup.
"If he leaves, it will be to a big club, he is under contract until 2016 and the club gives him every condition for him to achieve that dream.
"Our idea is to always work with big clubs, all players dream of playing in the Champions League. But Tottenham are an important club in London, we can't rule them out."

Turkish paper Hurriyet saying Mourinho wants Sneijder.

Capoue wants to leave Toulouse.

Gremio midfielder Fernando has confirmed that Roma have made a bid for him and he would relish a move to the Serie A club.
The 21-year-old, who is in Brazil's squad for the upcoming Confederations Cup, is a product of Gremio's youth Academy.
He had made more than 100 appearances for the Porto Alegre-based club since making his debut in 2009.
Speaking on international duty ahead of the Confederations Cup, Fernando confirmed Roma have made moves to sign him and he hopes a deal can be done.
"My agent has in his hands an option from Roma," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"It will be fair for my career, it's a very prestigious club that will play the Champions League next season, and they want to win, as I do."

If Juventus are to do a deal that would see them sign Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic then president Andrea Agnelli must involve himself in the transfer.
It will take a bid, under a negotiation agreed last summer, of no less than €30m to take ‘JoJo’ away from Florence after he agreed that figure with Andrea Della Valle.
Tuttosport report that if he is to move to the Bianconeri though, Agnelli will have to directly intervene in the deal as without his input then the deal has no chance of succeeding.
Fiorentina may also discuss a move with Premier League sides, with Arsenal among those having been linked with the Montenegrin, if Juventus do not make their concrete interest known.

Capoue wants to leave Toulouse.
Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue hopes to leave the club this summer in search of European football.
The 24-year-old has been with the club for his whole career, making his debut in the 2007-08 season and racking up over 150 appearances.
The France international has been linked with Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham as well as the likes of Paris St Germain and AC Milan, though coach Alain Casanova is hopeful he will stay with the Tefece.
"If he wants to keep me, that is good," Capoue told L'Equipe.
"That says that he counts on me, that he is happy with me.
"But it is football. I feel it is the moment to leave, to play in big competitions."

seems a little strange only one club would be after one of the few quality right wing players who apparently was available, before city got him of course.
