Fiorentina midfielder David Pizarro is set to leave the club and has been linked with a surprise return to Manchester City this summer.

Pizarro's agent Alejandro Santiesteban told Radio Bio Bio: "David's idea is to leave Fiorentina, he is looking for a new challenge and I'm working on this.

"He seeks a top European club, a 'five stars' club, but there are not yet any negotiations. We will stay calm as there is plenty of time until August 31."

Pizarro's uncle Aurelio Cortez has hinted the midfielder may seek a return to Manchester City, who are set to be managed by his compatriot Manuel Pellegrini.

"Once David signed autographs with the number eight but now he has changed to ten as that is his number for Chile and his next club, I think Pellegrini's Manchester City or AS Roma," Cortez told El Mercurio.

Juventus have been given an asking price of €20 million if they are to take Andrea Ranocchia from Inter.

The Bianconeri have been eyeing the central defender as they look to make an assault on the Champions League, though the Nerazzurri have been unwilling to sell.

According to Calciomercato.com, Juve have been told that an offer of €20m would be enough for Inter to accept.

New Inter coach Walter Mazzarri has made no secret of the fact that he wants to bring some of his old players with him to San Siro and Napoli have apparently countered his interest in Juan Zuniga.

The Partenopei have told the Nerazzurri at a dinner meeting between the two clubs that they will allow Zuniga and Valon Behrami to move to Inter but only if Fredy Guarin goes the other way.
