http://www.mercato365.com/infos-clubs/saint-etienne/saint-etienne-seul-aubameyang-a-un-bon-de-sortie-1029259.shtml
Translation of bolded portion: Only one significant player, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has a ticket from the club to leave.
release clause is "clause libératoire" in french for future reference.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.II
Even if a player doesn't work out... like Kaka for example... it still contributes directly and indirectly. The direct revenue is merchandising stuff. The indirect revenue is the extra ticker price that you can charge or the better media deal you can get because "Kaka" is in the package.
Not saying valuations are an exact science if you're project numbers. Any projection involves assumptions. My point is that the assumptions that go into projecting revenue are very different from club to club.

goal.com... but it's an interview with direct quotes. Looks highly likely that Grenier ends up at Arsenal.

Thiago has offers from Chelsea, City, Man United and Bayern. He didn't yet decide if he'll stay or leave. Madrid not an option for him. [md]

Even if it is from MD, Thiago will pick Madrid as a last resort. It would be really shocking if decided to go Madrid

Grenier can't play wide.... doesn't have the speed for it. It almost has to be Cazorla.

#Santos manager Muricy Ramalho has been sacked. Marcelo Bielsa and former Brazil manager Mano Menezes linked to the job.

If Grenier goes to Arsenal and doesn't play, it would be a really really really dumb choice by him. He has a big chance to make France NT that could go away very easily if he doesn't take it.

Arsenal don't play anyone wide anymore....
Its a 4-2-2-2 in the similar vein of City with fullbacks providing width.

That's why i don't think Arsene will really bid for him. It's all speculation for now. Grenier is better of staying at Lyon.

Nah 4-2-2-2 would be under appreciating the formation arsene has implemented.
It's just a hybrid of 4-4-2 and 4-3-3.

Mundo Deportivo and Sport deserve some respect, they got most of the Cesc and Nerman transfer saga right. When they give a news about barca you read it even if its very dubious, its not like the sun where you just laugh at anything they say.
And lets be honest, these Thiago rumors dont sound that off

Grenier was a beast in 2013 Nick... absolute monster for Lyon. He got them to CL by himself almost at the end imo.Mr Nick09 wrote:better off going to Monaco were Falcao will make him look better than he is.

As far as I know 'Sport' are very reliable when it comes to Barca news, they got Song to Barca first aswell. Dunno about Mundo.

waaaaat? his soul will be intact, it's Lyon who gave him the finger first when they wanted to trade him with freaking Monzon?
if i was him, i would take the money and go to a team that has massive aspiration in the league. he will be surrounded by good players, and Falcao will run routes for him.
@Sports, i know the kid is legit, playing with an elite CF that makes perfect runs and movements ahead of him will just help him and make him look better. Servicing Gomis all year is not a fun thing
