Well that really sucked.

As long as Nigel doesn't leave, and he won't, Wisconsin is losing one senior who has played less than 10 minutes the entire season. Hopefully we can come back and make a serious tournament run next year. Team showed a lot of heart and a lot of strength to come back from a 9-9 start and end up in the NCAA tournament losing in the last 19 seconds to get to the elite eight.

Continue the good work and come back next season. I'm disappointed because we choked it away (the refs certainly helped imo but I can't blame them at all) but that's just the way it is with sports sometimes.

Great season, couldn't have asked for more from this team after the way they started, and after losing Bo as head coach at around the same time. Looking forward to a full proper year ahead of us.

I'm late but smh at Coach K telling Brooks from Oregon that he was showboating for shooting a late game 3 with the shot clock winding down. Then afterward he lies about it, saying he never said that. Audio got released and that's exactly what he said. Also someone pulled up a list from this year where his teams took shots up 20+ with less than 30 seconds left. They did it at least 5x this season. What a hypocrite.

I was watching a bit of the women's tournament earlier and the lack of parity is ridiculous. UConn beating everyone by 60 points can't be good for the sport. Maybe it will eventually elevate other schools, idk. They beat a 5 seed, #15 in the country, by 60 points today. It was 61-12 at half time, wtf.

Yeah U Conn is absolutely insane with the women's team. It's definitely not good for the game, you know who wins before the tournament even starts.

Syracuse in the final four makes me sick. I think UNC should make easy work of them.

Picked UNC to win it all before the tournament, not really changing right now. Wouldn't mind Oklahoma as I have family there and I enjoy watching them play. Hield is an absolute monster.

Yeah, UNC has to be the favorite especially after the game they just played. They have a ton of weapons.

Missed the Villanova game but I can't be bothered. Unfortunate, because I thought that would be an amazing match, but Oklahoma simply didn't show up. Villanova apparently shot lights out too.

This Villanova team is clearly very good and they've proved themselves deserving to be in the final after wins over both Kansas and Oklahoma. I would hate to doubt them yet again, but I'm going to because for me UNC is just too good. UNC wins it for me, but I think if Villanova show up it will be quite a tough game for them.

I don't care who wins, I just want a good game.

and yeah, I think UNC has too much size inside. They shot like 2-15 from 3pt and still got up 15 on Syracuse.

Nova will have to have another good shooting game, if their shots aren't falling early, it will be a long night for them.

Agreed, watching UNC play against Syracuse I remember telling my friend that they were too good at passing and too much inside for Syracuse. I didn't expect them to beat Syracuse that easily while shooting that badly from three, but if anything that's just one more feather in UNC's cap.

Brice Johnson is a beast.

And for all of the crap UNC has gotten from the NCAA about the "fake classes" (which is fair but a different discussion altogether), it is nice to see two of their best players leading the way to an NCAA title being seniors.

We're 20th with the 7th best incoming class, and I was feeling good about next year until 5 min ago when I found out Hamilton is hiring an agent and won't come back. Fuuu

Far too early but I can't disagree. Wisconsin is returning literally everybody as long as Nigel Hayes (projected to be a second rounder in the draft...) decides to stay, and I think he will. It would be a bad decision not to and he's a smart kid. A full year this time under Greg Gard while adding two new players (Pritzl, apparently a very good shooter, something Wisconsin really needs) and Van Vliet, a large, European center with a jumper who can give Happ a rest or fill in when Happ gets in foul trouble (something we also desperately missed this year).

That combined with the likes of Iverson, Hill, and Charlie Thomas getting another year in the gym with the guys and hopefully the Badgers can get some more bench production.

Which is what excites me, it's not just that Wisconsin aren't losing players and are gaining some (apparently) good ones, it's that the ones that we're gaining are quite useful for the areas where we lack right now. As long as they come good, and this team can develop further, I think Wisconsin has a shot at another deep run.

Good first day, some great upsets, buzzer beaters etc. Buffalo absolutely destroyed #4 Arizona, my lord. Never seen a good team like that choke so hard. They didn't lose a close game against an over-performing bad team, they got destroyed by an inferior team (who admittedly did play out of their minds)

Where is McLewis at? Michigan State have a REALLY good team this year. #3 seed is absolutely disrespectful to them. They're one of the best in the nation.
