That's because the search function on this site (and most other forums, in my experience) won't search strings of three or fewer characters... too many potential hits that slow down the function and render results useless in many cases.

Now that you say it, that makes sense, although on other forums I'm used to get an error message that I "have to enter more characters" otherwise the search wouldn't proceed at all. The search function here however pretended to have searched but not found any results so it deceived me. hmm

Finding threads is the only thing the in-built search kind of performs - IF you can remember a distinct word like 'quietly'.

If you're looking for a thread called, say, "How did Pep do so far?", you can't search for it and can't find it lol.

Looking for specific posts is near impossible, also with the google custom search.

Now I can understand some things might be hard/impossible to implement etc.

The one thing I do NOT understand is, why can't at least find a list of ALL posts made by a member, even if we then have to click to the page displaying the timeframe we're looking for.

Now we can choose to 'show all messages/posts made by' but it really only shows the last hundred or so.

Dunno if it's just me but when I'm on the phone and click the last page button, puff, it doesn't take me to the last page but somewhere around the middle. hmm

That button is not for the last page - it is meant to take you to the newest post that you have yet to read.

I logged out and then logged in again, marked all the forums read and the problems still appears

When I check GL on my phone the "last page" button doesn't any longer take me to the last page, takes me about 66% through the thread or something. I see the page length in posts has recently been increased, maybe it's to do with that?

And what button are you guys referring to? Perhaps you can screenshot it.

This is happening to me too lately. Only at threads with more than 10 pages I would say. It's annoying.
