...yeah and they used the tactics that all the lesser talented side uses when they play a more talented team a.k.a Catenaccio..
izzy wrote:Ramos didn't say that. He said, I don't know if there was contact or not - I'd have to see the images.
That's what I meant. He knows whether or not there was contact because he was THERE, but he didn't say if there was or if there wasn't, meaning that he didn't want to give a straight answer. So I ask you, if you know that there was not any contacts, why would you say that you need to see the images?
To me it seems a little weird..

At the end of the day, that clip here proves he dived. He tried to cheat and got caught.

Re: Barcelona looking toothless
Can we get back to the topic at hand... or is this some blasphemy i am spouting
Did anyone see how a 20 year old pure number 9 Morata just breeze by Alves. It wasnt that big a burst of pace.... And then he was allowed to put the ball in, which imo, was the pass of the match. But no Right Back should be beaten like that. And whats the point of having defenders who stay in the opponents halves 24/7 and not defend.
Another difference between Madrid and Barca these 2 games is the amount of tracking back each team does.
Did anyone see the amount the two wingers were tracking back. I barely saw Pedro or Villa do the same

Mourinho may leave on an uncontested victory over Barcelona.

Re: Barcelona looking toothless
It is not the issue of tracking back. Essien and Coentrão barely entered the opposition's half while Alves and Alba were always pushing forward, hence the necessity for Morata and Callejón to track back.
On Morata, I've been a fan of him since a couple of years ago. Absolute beast in air and also very good with feet, making good runs and showing good physique. Reminds me of Morientes.

Mourinho over Barcelona this season:
Super Cup? Real victory
Cup? Real victory
Liga? One victory for Real and a draw.
Everywhere he has bested Barcelona this season. If he leaves at the end of this season, history books will remmeber how he was the man that ended up dominating one of the best team of all time. (in addition with the Inter victory)

Re: Barcelona looking toothless
Umm, in football you play for the trophy, not a single win. The fact that Real concentrated in couple matches, where as Barca fought against everybody in La Liga doesn't make Mourninho anykind of winner. Oh yeah, he bested Roura.OLpower wrote:Harmonica wrote:Yeah 13 points is a great victory.OLpower wrote:Mourinho may leave on an uncontested victory over Barcelona.

This Barca team isn't even the best in the world right now lol
Props on the mickey mouse supercup, Tito was our coach.
But the other two are not very impressive given our situation. Hell Milan beat us 2-0 and made us look like scrubs. Allegri will forever be known as the man that dominated the best team of all time
No.
As for the game, I still feel it was a penalty but we didn't play well enough to deserve anything. I don't mind it too much, we still have the league in the bag anyway.

He is dominating a team without a coach and belive it or not, a coach is not just there to look pretty for the cameras..
Oh and, apart from the 3-1 win, all the games has been close in which both team could have won the games.
