Hasn't Sakho got a bit of an attitude problem? He seems quite unprofessional.

He complained because he is a former club captain who been there for a fairly long time and he isnt playing enough while inferior Alex is playing instead.

Nothing wrong with that, he isn't causing mayhem, simply wasn't hapy.

I think Sakho's feisty character will help an often complacent-looking Barcelona defence. He's no Puyol in terms of organising the defence though, sadly reading the game isn't one of his strengths.

I agree with people who say defence should start from up front by pressing. For that Messi needs to be rested every now and then, or not play the entire 90 minutes as he obviously can't play the high intensity he's required to play in attack.

I have to say, an worrying sign I saw for the Barcelona faithful was against PSG. Your midfield seemed too slow to recover from pressing, once PSG had the ball in the middle of the pitch they had a lot of spaces in front of them, ready to be exploited. Perhaps Thiago should be playing more often and slowly become a starter.

I agree midfield is arriving late, happens too much.

I want to believe that was more poor organasation and not having he mentality we used to have, to press on a consistent basis.

We think we can go half hearted for majority of games and turn it on like well did in Milan. Don't think that works, if you get used to not pressing consistently then when the time come you need it you aren't going to have the same level of understanding.

Milan was fools gold. Got happy because pressured Zapata and Ambrosini into mistakes....Bayern and PSG got more quality, Thiago Silva and Boateng ain't going to panic like that.

Victor Valdes is said to be traveling to Monaco tomorrow to negotiate a transfer. It could be just a rumour though.

Who will replace him? De Gea? Reina? Handanovic?

Two interesting tidbits on Twitter right now.

1. We can forget the plans of developing Deulofeu. The club plan to loan him out this season. This perhaps means that neither Sanchez nor Pedro nor Tello will be sold. We have just gone for one change in the forward line - Villa replaced with Neymar.

2. We have stopped pursuing Thiago Silva saying he is priced too high. We are now trying to find a lesser known center back to buy.

The only realistic way Barca would get Thiago Silva is if he pressed the move as PSG simply do not need to sell.

Shame they didn't get him before he went to France. Missed opportunity there.

Some news are linking Deulofeu to Dortmund. I would not mind this if he has enough playtime and we have a buy-back clause.

yea articles saying Deu might be loaned to Dortmund. I wouldnt mind, but not sure if he'll get decent of playing time there

Well with Gotze and Lewa going out he will probably get more time there than at barca with Messi, Neymar, Tello, and (Pedro or Alexis or Vila). Unless we sell 2 of: Alexis, Vila and Pedro, then he might get some time with us.

eelir, surely Dortmund will buy more established players as well for replacing Gotze and Lewandowski. Its hard to say how much scope Deulofeu will get at BVB but chances are not much.

perhaps I rate Deulofeu higher than I should, but I believe that BVB will have it hard to improve on Gotze and especially Lewa. I also believe the competition in our side for those positions to be higher than at BVB.

It's a mistake to loan Deulofeu, he should be useful from next season. He is the third best winger at the club.

How is loaning out your youngsters a mistake? Look at Madrid, they loaned out Carvajal last year and they're signing him back for a mere €1.5m and get a very good homegrown player who's got plenty of experience under his belt, unlike Bartra and Dos Santos who've been rotting on your bench for eternity. Arsenal have been mastering this art for years, and now they got Wilshere and Ramsey, two quality youngsters who'll be part of north Londoners for a very long time.

You are right Danyjr but problem is if he goes to Dortmund he will get no game time at all so defeats the purpose of a loan.

Doesn't have to be Dortmund. There are plenty of other good teams who will take them on loan with open arms.

Yeah but if your using Wilshere as an example, then you know he wasn't ever loaned out because they could use him right away. I think those who say he shouldn't go out also believe he should be used right away.

He was loaned out to Bolton?

We are Barca. Players that are loaned out are later sold. The only counter example to this is Cuenca during last season, but we know how that turned out in the end. Deulofeu should stay.
