If i'm infront of somebody 14 inches smaller than me, backing into them and timing my jumps as well as humanly possible on FIFA, yet the 5 ft 2 pro club player STILL heads the ball by heading through my chest, then the fault is not with me.

And no, on clubs NONE of that is an exaggeration.

If you want to defend a corner effectively:

While standing in front of the player, head the ball BACK IN THE DIRECTION IT CAME FROM a.k.a back towards the throw in line. As long as you're not defending it using Marcelo Vs Ibrahimovic, for example, its going to work EVERY TIME.

The only time people score against me with corners is when I mistakenly get out of position. If you don't know how to do this then I can't help you Laughing

For whatever reason, corners and crosses are literally of no concern to me. I never have problem defending them nor have I experienced that they are OP in any way.

Hell I hardly ever concede from set pieces all together, even when I'm playing as ANY on pro clubs.

UT is sometimes a different story though, because everything is so damn OP.

Man, I know how to defend corners but sometimes I am not in control of the player who has to fight for the ball and if I try to select him, the ' change player ' button doesn't work (FIFA bug).

Same here. I rarely concede from corners & crosses.

No, its not a FIFA bug.

Use your right analog stick to select the defender you want(rather than L1/LB).

Due to the camera angle I use, I can't really see the entire box during right hand sided corner kicks.

Also those glitch corners need to go. How is it when people select a custom/glitch corner you can't stop their attacker from heading the ball compared to normal corners?

Nah I like it. The ones that are zoomed out make the graphics look unrealistic, with the players looking all small. I think it's one of the dynamic ones.

FIFA 14 on PS4 is a very different game to the PS3 edition, executive producer David Rutter has told OPM, saying that the upgrade won't just offer a shinier, higher resolution version of the current-gen edition.

"Put them side by side and play them one after the other, then you realise how vastly different they are. It's remarkable," said Rutter.

He added: "PlayStation 4 gives us the ability to render with more fidelity. We've got roughly ten times as much animation in the next-gen version."

All the extra animation means players can produce moments of brilliance simply not possible in early generation FIFA titles, Rutter suggets.

"You can take shots in places that weren't there in previous generations," he continues. "On next-gen, shooting has the full power of Ignite behind it, so you've got tonnes more animations in there. We're really pleased with the synergy between the build-up to the shot and the connection actually happening."

It's safe to assume the Xbox One version has all the same upgrades.

FIFA 14 launches for current-gen platforms on September 27, with versions for PS4 and Xbox One yet to be dated.

With the new scouting system on career mode, hopefully you can actually watch the players play and even try them out prior to making a bid.

How can you go for a player simply by looking at stats or based on what the scout tells you? I'm sure the manager actually watches the player in real life before bidding for him.
