Liverpool v Swansea
I've started match threads for our last two games and we've lost 'em both 0 - 2, let's see if I can make it three in a row.
So it's a home match against a team that's one point above us in the table. A win would do our spirits a world of good, but we all know Swansea are tough opponents - they've already come to Anfield once this season and left the pitch winners while on paper they have the best defensive record in away games in the league: just 10 goals conceded in 13 games.
So this is a big game for two reasons: We are close in the table and it's mentally important to bounce back from the West Brom game especially.
Notable injury news are that Sturridge should be available again.

Re: Liverpool v Swansea
i guess we have never scored against swansea in EPL since they joined back the top league. but I am confident that if Sturridge starts, we will at least score 1 or 2 , cant say about how much they will score

Re: Liverpool v Swansea
I agree Art. It is a very big game, and a win against the Swans could benefit us in several ways:
- Confidence boost ahead of a very difficult European match on Thursday
- Arrest a mini-dip in form
- Boost us above Swans and West Brom (temporarily) in the table
There are several reasons to be optimistic, as well. Daniel Sturridge looks to be back fit, meaning our attack should once again have a cutting edge; Coutinho will have had time to integrate into the squad and may be set for a first start; and Chico Flores will miss the match through injury.
Should we come out with anything resembling good form, I could see us comfortably winning. That said, should we come out like we waste chances and let them hang around as we did against West Brom and Zenit, they could capitalize. Swansea (esepeically Michu) need no second invitation to score. They've made a living this season on opportunistic chances. Maintaining concentration in defense will be key to success tomorrow.

Not sure about the balance of our XI and Skrtel should be starting, but Swansea's backline are there for the taking. Also no Michu. Time to win.

Re: Liverpool v Swansea
We need to get a second and kill the game off. I hate it when players play it too casually. Great performance by Suarez though The team should be doing even better considering the line up Swansea are playing.

Swansea don't look like scoring and I'd be surprised if we don't score a second against that backline.

Re: Liverpool v Swansea
i never watched any liverpool game with such a low confidence, leading 1-0...when guzman takes a shot from the edge of the box, it feels like we should score one more goal to be comfortable. Otherwise, utter dominace by us, swansea defence shitty scared !!!
