Liverpool v Swansea
Only some 24 hours until we play again, a league cup fixture against Swansea at Anfield.
Should be interesting to see how much Rodgers rotates the players or does he. Swansea are obviously strong opponents.
The question on everyone's lips: Are we going to score?

Don't see any harm in trying this:
----------Mignolet----------
Jonson-Toure-Sakho-Enrique
-----------Lucas-----------
-------Emre-Coutinho-------
Markovic-----Ricky-----Borini

Re: Liverpool v Swansea
I'm guessing Markovic will start and if so, it's an important opportunity for him to show he can step up his game. He's been rather poor so far.

Sakho is out for another two weeks.
We dont have anyone other than Toure
Atmost Markovic for Borini but that'll leave Lambert in a Balo like position.

Sigurdsson is a massive doubt for them, though im not expecting great things tonight considering the form we are in.

Could as well be 4-3-3 with Markovic and Borini out wide.
I'm not feeling so good about this one.

Re: Liverpool v Swansea
lol not a single good chance created. Most of them shots from outside.
We would be unwatchable if we didn't have Coutinho. He's so good ffs
Markovic is too timid. It's like the ball is a bomb that's about to explode. He gets rid of it so quick as if he's scared. So much potential but if he doesn't change this, he will never reach it. Reminds me of Quaresma at Barca, Inter, and Chelsea.
Only players in that XI that deserve to wear our jersey are Coutinho, Henderson and Manquillo.

Lovren and Johnson have been good also.
Markovic...bleh...
Also still sticking with the 4-3-3 it seems. Ah well.

Re: Liverpool v Swansea
We got so lucky with that red card. Not sure if it was even a foul.
And not exactly a good performance and we need to create more, but it's a big, big relief to just get the win. Also a relief to see Balotelli scoring. Next, do it in the Prem, please.

Re: Liverpool v Swansea
It was the usual, Markovic failing. Lambert doing well only when its played to his feet. Coutinho getting everything right except the end product. Lovren ball watching in the goal. We playing well but not being able to capitilize.
I wouldn't call it horrible.

Re: Liverpool v Swansea
Playing well when we can't create anything special. I don't consider having possession playing well.
It took a set piece and a lucky cross to score our goals.
Anyways, if you mean we were playing better than we have done in the past month or so then definitely.
