You should. It's one of the best shows out there.

Started watching the second season and then got very busy and stopped watching shows altogether. Recently picked House of Cards back up where I left off about a week ago and finished it just now.

Second season thoughts:

I'm in the middle of season two at the moment, agree with you CBarca, season one was definitely better, the story was just more believable, season two feels like it is trying to impress you too much with unrealistic things.

Started watching this. Not ready any comments above.

Episode 7 now in one night lol. It's fantastic.

I have two things to discuss/complain

1) Surely it's not just me who thinks Kevin Spacey looks like Sir Alex Ferguson?

2) I was extremely disturbed when Spacey went 'down' on Zoe. The age difference must be like 40 between the two ffs. That was really uncomfortable to watch.

Although Zoe has an amazing ass

That's part of the disturbing perversion of Frank Underwood's mind. The way he relates sex to power. You'll see.

Just finished it. Well worth the watch

Frank got what he wanted lol. It was extremely unrealistic the way it all happened but let's ignore it because it's a TV Show afterall.

Doug Sad He was my 2nd favourite character after Frank. I didn't expect him to go ffs. I don't know how Frank will do his shit without him. Seth is crap compared to him. Average in everyway. Hope they introduce a new character instead. Even that Hacker is more of a character than Seth lol and Meechum.

Season 2 wasn't as good as the first one. There were shocks at the start and towards the end but the middle was a lot of minor characters getting more time and boring arcs dragging for the sake of it. But it was still pretty good to watch. Season 1 was great because Frank was starting from the bottom. Like BC said somewhere in page 5 it was fresh and new. Season 2 was basically season 1 but different scenarios and Frank overcoming all odds. But like i said, it was still great to watch.

Season 3 should go back to season 1 lengths because it will be a new experience as Frank is the president now. Can't wait

Still can't believe Rachel went to such a length  Doug Sad

Aslo I really like Remy. I can't fault him for anything because he admitted of being a pawn and played his role really well. Couldn't hate him eventhough he tried to bring down Frank. Hope he becomes the next Doug for Frank.

Also President Walker was terrible lol. He wouldn't even work out as a cleaner at ASDA nevermind the president.

PS: Anyone found the president's wife as beautiful as I did?

Season 1: 9.2/10
Season 2: 8.5/10

Overall: 8.8/10

Lawd have mercy I love this show!

been binge watching it in it's entirety. Can't get enough.

Nearly done with season 2.

Frank Underwood is one cold son of a gun.

Will read the whole thread once I've completed the season finale.

Kinell! where do I start. So many wtf moments lol.

The 2 biggest ones were Zoe's death and the threesome. The latter, I was watching it thinking Meecham is gonna bang Claire, but then..... rofl

Walker was so naive. How can the supposed most powerful man in the world be so manipulated. Frank and Tusk played him like a fiddle, especially the former.

Feel bad about what they did to my dude, Lucas. Sad He wanted to reveal the truth and avenge the murder of his chick Sad  I knew that hacker was a set up. damn.

Poor Doug too. great character. Developed feelings for the whore, but he was only trying to protect since he saw her as his "sister/mother". His death was soft and unworthy of a great character. Frank is going to struggle without Doug's expertice and trust, imo.

Frank and Claire are the ultimate couple though. Honest, open, in tune with one another, pragmatic( thanks HoC for teaching me this word) and just plain ruthless! They can look at people and give them a sense of false security, then crush them.

Frank finally made it as president. One of the greatest characters I've ever seen on TV. Kevin Spacey is my top 3 greatest actors of all time. Only he could play such a role.

Still can't believe he and Meecham .....ahem. I literally just saw that episode 2 hours ago upon my completion of the series and I don't know whether to laugh or gasp in shock. I knew frank had gay tendencies from that scene in the Library, but thought it was back in the day, a young confused teen 'experimenting'.

The next day, they acted like nothing happened. No awkwardness.

Weird, weird couple, man.

Brilliant show. Cant wait for season 3.
