I have not seen the original but i think i might have to now

Anyway its hard to describe but it has gripped me and i have already gone through all 13 episodes of the first season i hope more is on the way.

Spacey is just immense and there's so many different layers to the story line.

Its basically about a politician who wants to get the top job in Washington for power and influence through an unhealthy mix of corruption, sex and greed.

Really don't want to say much more without ruining it but i highly advise watching it

Yeah he plays the lead role, don't sleep on the supporting actors though they are all great and all have a story to tell which overlaps with the main story line.

I love it as you can possibly tell

Well when you have kevin spacey in a lead role it's damn hard to not sleep on the supporting actors but I'll try

Since seeing this thread, I have watched 3 episodes none stop I'm going to finish all 13 by the weekend as I have an exam to study for. But this show is Epic quality. right up there with TWD, Suits, Breaking Bad, GoT, etc.

In my Netflix queue. Will get to it this weekend

true dat, but I have a feeling that it was always planned to be two seasons and wrapped up. I marathoned this show in like two days when it came out, crazy production and Spacey

I'm pacing myself so I enjoy it longer.

Finished the 10th episode and I realized that I'm too far into it now and I have to finish this till the end tonight.

I mean there is a point either in a movie or in a series or in a book where you get to it and you sit down and you say..."OK I have to finish this now in one sitting".

Looking forward to doing so tonight. Off to watch episode 11, then watch 28 days later with my brother, and then finish the series.
