"mustang brown details"? The Away kits become weirder and weirder, it seems. Do they want to go St.Pauli in brown?la bestia negra wrote:FC Bayern Trikot 2013/2014

Home one will be clean red, with white details.(they confirmed that away will be new) Away one will be white with "mustang brown" details and he will have unique design...

Hm. strange colour choice nonetheless. Brown... Should have gone for red details (or even blue as that's in the Bayern logo, too, even though it's the main colour of 1860, but one could always go for a different hue).

Re: 2013/14 Kit Thread Mk. I
I really hope this isn't real. I absolutely despise this kit. It looks really cheap. And doesn't look anything like Arsenal at all. If it wasn't for the crest I wouldn't have the slightest idea what club it was supposed to belong to. I would have guessed the Chicago fire or something lol.donttreadonred wrote:Interesting kit designs for Arsenal are popping up everywhere. Not an awful design in and of themselves. Harkens back to the old Adiddas kits (I'm thinking 86-90).
Unfortunately, (unless I'm out of touch on the recent kit deals) there is the small problem of Nike's deal running through 2014. So, there doesn't appear to be any way this is the kit for 2013...

I like the Juve kits. Away one looks a lot like Sweden though.

Might prefer black instead of blue on the Away kit, but otherwise it's very classy.

Another possibility for our kit next season. IDK what to make of it.
Apologies for the portion that got cut off! Is there any way to fix that?

Chicago Fire released brought out new home and away kits last season, and all MLS teams are on a 2-year cycle so the Fire won't be getting new versions of either of those this year. There is talk of a potential third kit to be designed/voted on by the fans, but the club want some type of fan-investment before actually ordering the kits, like a deposit even before they even go ahead with the production.

Also, the US is releasing a new home kit this year to commemorate the federation's centennial:

At least it doesn't look like cheap sequins, like Adidas's last home kit did...

Really? Cause having bought both jerseys the difference in quality is immense. The adidas ones fit like a glove, actually had a semblance of weight and quality. The warrior jersey I ordered this year felt flimsy, thin along with generally feeling like a retail shirt from Zara.
Disparity in overall quality between them, is disappointing.
Take it as you will.

Re: 2013/14 Kit Thread Mk. I
I have several Adidas and one Warrior... there's a definite difference in material but that's not the same thing as a difference in quality. Sounds like a complaint of something new vs something familiar to me. Only time will tell how the Warrior kit holds up but Adidas hasn't set the bar terribly high in terms of sturdiness in my experience.
I honestly loved some of Adidas's designs and up until 2010 I think they only released one LFC kit I didn't like and made several I absolutely adore. After 2010 however they dropped significantly in both overall design quality and build quality in my estimation.

Think I'm going all Chicago until season's end. Roma are either going Nike or Adidas by then so I'll pick up their new stuff at that time. I have enough Kappa and Diadora stuff.

Re: 2013/14 Kit Thread Mk. I
Chicago's away is, IMO, brilliant. The home is a bit disappointing in that it's left behind the traditional white for the blue (though I do think the sits better). I'd honestly recommend waiting and seeing how the third develops though. Section 8 are really pushing for a Chicago flag style kit which, if done well, could be the best of the lot in both look and lore.

Well in terms of quality the difference is distinct, but I cannot argue on the design for the reasons that I quite liked last years shirts (due to my questionable fashion tastes) but I must admit this years throwback are rather classy as well, despite the off-colour.
I cannot agree with the drop in quality as the new tech-fit on Adidas for me has substantially improved the overall feel of the jersey. My Bayern ordered jersey has a similar feel but accentuated by the structure of the design.
Warrior has exceeded expectations from a design point of view and given that they are a young company who are inexperienced in football jerseys. I'm confident they will continually to innovate and further improve the quality of their jerseys given the high stakes and exclusivity banked on the deal. American made jerseys I notice, usually do have a superior quality parameter than their European counterparts.

Re: 2013/14 Kit Thread Mk. I
Regarding Adidas: I have kits from 07/08 that are still holding up better than the 10/11 away I got.
When I refer to a drop in quality I'm talking more about resilience than fit.
