Re: PES 2013 Thread
Looking forward to it. I really don't have that many complaints about pes2012 ( gameplay wise ). If anything, I'd like a first touch feature like they had on fifa back in the day . You know..like flicking the right stick before you receive the ball, and that gives you a precious head start on the covering defender.
Other than that, I love the 2nd player controls. I played my buddy who stuck to playing pes2011 style without learning the new controls, and I absolutely decimated him on counters.
You guys have any complaints abt pes2012 that you'd wanna see improved ?

Re: PES 2013 Thread
Nah, PES2012 was the best of this gen i think. Like i've done since PES2009, I played BAL first to get used to the new controls, try it with 2013, it will make the game so much easier. In 2012 after playing BAL for a month, I breezed through Master League. BAL really helps.

People would laugh at you if you said you play FIFA in Serbia.

Serbia
Would i be right in saying that PES is the prevelant game on mainland europe and asia, whilst FIFA owns Uk and north america?

It's not only UK ... I bet most europeans play FIFA rather than PES ... here in Italy I hardly know anybody who even considers playing PES ... and in my old country Moldova everybody plays FIFA .

Re: PES 2013 Thread
BAL has never really hit the spot for me...I played it in pes2011 and it was good enough, but I never felt a kinship to my player as I would to the team that I would take in ML.
Guess I'll give it a shot now that I've exhausted all the other game modes in pes2012.
Also, whatever ever the fk happened to player trades on ML ? I'm sick of having to sell players that I can easily trade + cash for another player. Really hope they bring that back. Ridiculous error on konami's part, and they've been doing it for the past 2 years at least.

Re: PES 2013 Thread
BAL is one of those modes you have to be in the mood to get into. An 18 season game controlling one player can get tedious, but once it starts to clicks, you can't stop playing it.
On trades, no idea where they went, PES2009 was the last game i remember them in

Re: PES 2013 Thread
PES was king back in the day, but the last 3 versions have lost the fun imo. I dont like that the outcome of a game is too random, its not up to the skills of the man behind the controller like the older versions. The shooting is horrible, you cant really place the ball anywhere, whereas in FIFA you can at least control it a great deal. So I think PES needs to figure out what the hell they want to do with that shooting, cause it stinks atm.
Its like they want to be more like FIFA but that was not why people bought PES in the first place! It was very fast paced (yes, not that realistic, but it was one of the things that made the whole series popular) and the shooting was so fun.
Let FIFA go for the more realistic approach, and PES go for the fast paced gamer I say.

Re: PES 2013 Thread
PES has never had fully liscensed kits and team names, if it did it would take away its major buying point, editing. The editing community on the official PES forums is HUGE. I spend 66.6% of my time on PES creating players, kits, badges, logos, teams etc. and uploading them online for others to use. Everyone who plays PES has downloaded an edited option file at some point. I usually add the Bundesliga teams for my own personal game, plus edit EPL kits and La Liga kits if needed and thats about it. I know many who want for example the Belgian or Swedish leagues though, they make/download themselves.

Is editing PES somehow availiable on consoles too? I know names are but what about, kits, logos etc?Jonathan28 wrote:PES has never had fully liscensed kits and team names, if it did it would take away its major buying point, editing. Re: PES 2013 Thread
I usually buy both the PC and Xbox version and mainly edit on PC then transfer over to Xbox. Unless its suddenly been changed you can edit on consoles. The last time I edited PES on a console was when I had PES 6 on my PS2 . I didn't have a maxdrive so I would take the picture of a clubs badge and then draw it from scratch in the badge creator, it allowed you to create logos such as Nike's and Adidas and stick it on and full kits aswell. I had fun creating Chelsea's uber complicated 06/07 home and away kit, good times.
Just checked my Xbox version, you can edit kits and create club badges/embelms. Good to see, thinking of going back to my hardcore ways and editing the hard way using my Xbox when PES 2013 comes out.
